CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: Goodbye, for now, Mr Black

"Do you think it has a name?"
"What?" Hermione asked.
I nodded to the tree," What do we call it, Willow the Willow?"
"It's a tree."
I shrugged," So, I say we call it Wilber."
"How tired are you?" She asked after a long pause.
"Very." I laughed, my head resting on my knees.

A swarm of Bats came flying down from the canopy, Buckbeak danced then with excitement, catching the odd one then eating it whole.
"'Least someone's enjoying himself," Hermione stated as the time slowed down.
I laughed, closing my eyes for a little.
Harry sighed," Before. Down by the lake. When I was with Sirius I did see someone that someone made the Dementors go away."
Hermione looked at him, "With a Patronus. I heard Snape telling Dumbledore when we were taken to the hospital. According to him, only a really powerful wizard could have conjured it."
Harry smiled at the sky, "It was my Dad. It was my Dad who conjured the Patronus."
I looked at him," But, Harry, your Dad's-"
"Dead. I know. I'm just telling you what I saw." He gave us a weak smile.
Swallowing, I looked ahead, not having the heart to say that no magic can fix the damaged done by the three unforgivable curses.

People started to come out of the hole at the base of the roots, Hadleigh was wrapping Ron's foot  as Sirius stared lovingly at the castle, later joined by Harry. The events of today would've been astronomical to a lot of people if Peter hadn't been the sly coward he was.

"You see Sirius talking to me? He's asking me to come live with him." Harry Smiled, "When we free him, I'll never have to go back to the Dursley's. I'm going to tell him I'd like to live someplace in the country. I think he'd like that, after all those years in Azkaban. We don't need a big place and I can help him"
"Tintagel is a nice place, lovely magical history as well," I offered a place," or Upper and Lower Slaughter quiet quant –"
We heard a howl echo around us, the animals around us quickly becoming tense  - the forest became thicker in some aspects.
Hermione looked up with a sad sigh," Lupin's transformed, not long now."
"Which means Pettigrew is slipping safely into the night. While we just stand here" Harry snarled, his attitude changing in a snap.
I knew how he felt if I had the opportunity at any point to get revenge on Bellatrix, Rudolphus, Rabastan and Barty Crouch I would.

We ran around the forest's edge, keeping to behind the foliage where we could – on the hill you could see the shadows of  Professor Lupin knocked down Snape then turning his advances on us – there was the sound of Drizella's growl followed by Sirius's attack on his friend.
Hermione put her hands to her mouth to amplify the howl grabbing the werewolves attention for a second.
"What are you doing?" Harry exclaimed, pulling her arms back.
She shook out of his grasp," Saving your life."

Lupin stopped, looking up then ran in the direction we were standing in,
"So time to go." I whispered, pulling on the backs of their hoods.
we went out in a full sprint to a clearing filled with board trunked tree, Hermione grabbed my arm pulling me behind a tree. Rolling my eyes, at the idea – I said nothing, too afraid to draw our professor to us.

Walking around the tree, we peeked around to see if the coast was clear – the only sounds around us being that of the rustling trees and the crickets in the grass tufts. Lupin has his paw raised as we backed into the clearing, preparing for the kill.
The Werewolf cried out in pain as battered him around the head with his talons – Lupin ran off deeper into the woods without looking back
"Poor Professor Lupin is having a really tough night," Harry said
"Somehow," I sighed," I don't think this is a rare occurrence for him."

In the sky, hundreds of dementors flew over our heads, sending a cold chill in the air, I ran my hands up and down my arms to warm up.
"Sirius!" Harry yelled out, bolting towards the lake.
