Viktor's P.O.V

How long have I been here? Days? Weeks? Months? Time seemed to no longer cast its shadow on me, and I couldn't remember the times I yelled out for the date just so I wouldn't go insane.

Aaron no longer visited me anymore, and I was very much glad. His annoying attitude was enough to make me want to kill myself, but I am sure I will get killed before that even happens.

"I know you are there..." I muttered softly as I heard the faniliar footsteps stop next to my bed that broke the silence.

"I apologize. I have brought your daily meal." The soft voice called out, her words flowing beautifully like a song.

No protest came from me as I felt the cold spoon hit my lips, my signal to open my mouth. I did as was expected, trying not to cause her to be angry. The first time she fed me, I had screamed at her, causing her to sing and create a huge pain in my brain.

"I am glad you have calmed down from your protests...the quiet atmosphere is soothing." She gave a sigh in relief and placed another spoonful of bad food into my mouth.

"You know...it can always be peaceful...if you let me go."

"Nice try, but right now I would rather not get on Aaron's bad side."

I scoffed, a mistake as food was shoved into my mouth causing me to cough harshly.

"You may think Aaron is a silly male who has no strength, but you are wrong. His power has multiplied by a hundred and his careless attitude is what makes it frightening. He could kill with no hesitation. The perfect soldier."

Silence surrounded us after her little speech and I heard the clatter of the spoon hitting a plate. I guess lunch time was over.

"Aaron is that strong, huh?"

I assumed she was nodding since no words were uttered, but could feel the agreement around her. But how? Aaron was average when I fought him, his shape-shifting skills were not impossible to conquer. How did he get that strong? Unless...

"Hey, girl-"

"Siren..."

"Siren...did...Aaron ever say how he got his powers?"

"No...he didn't. We all assumed it was through harsh experimentation like most of us, but he was gone from the labs for a long while."

"Anything unusual?" I asked, the feeling of anxiety starting to claw its little fingers into my spine. If what I was thinking was true, then I could no longer hold back. I don't think my sliver of sanity would last long and I would turn back into the monster that I grew to hate.

"Well...when he came back with you...he was most grotesque. Blood covered him everywhere, and I am pretty sure there was flesh in between his teeth. I knew he was insane, but I never expected him to eat someone."

My breathing suddenly increased as I heard her words. Then, Frost's speech suddenly struck me like a bullet.

"Kenny..."

The idea of Kenny getting eating by the hands of that maniac suddenly filled me with anger. No, it was worse... It was an emotion I have only felt once before. The day I had killed my mother.

"Kenny!"

I heard the metal start the groan under the pressure as my "hands" slowly started to gain strength. My back arched painfully as the build-up of energy began to eat its way up my back and around my shoulders. But this was nothing. The pain could never compare to the idea of losing Kenny.
