Chapter 12

I woke up the next morning feeling complete, after what happened last night you could say I was the happiest girl ever. I got up to see Kris asleep on the couch so I decided to go pick up breakfast.

I came back to see Kris watching the news and she had the biggest grin when she saw me.

"Well go ahead spit it out" I laughed as I sat the food on the counter.

"KADEN TOLD ME ABOUT IT" she blurted.

"Jeez news spreads fast around here huh?" I started blushing.

She ran over and hugged me.

"Enough about Kaden and I, I don't even know what THAT is yet. How did it go with Mason?" I nudged her arm.

"Welllllll.... we kissed and he asked me out!!" Her cheeks turned a bright shade of pink.

"OH MY GOD KRIS THAT'S AMAZING" I shouted 

"Yeah I'm super geeked" She started smiling.

Just then the doorbell rang.

"I got it" She said getting up.

"AAAAAAAAW VEDDDDDD!!!" She said screaming walking back inside holding a bouquet of daisies and roses... My favorites...

"OOOOH THERE'S A NOTE" She said handing me the bouquet.

"I enjoyed our time together V, this is super cheesy but look outside" I read aloud.

I walked over to the window with Kris grinning behind me. There he stood. Kaden. 

He was outside holding a sign that said "Be mine? Always & Forever." His mom was standing on their porch smiling and Kris was already headed out the door so I followed. 

I nodded my head walking towards him as he opened his arms to hug me while Kris stood on the porch with Ms. Jones crying. No seriously, they were crying.

Kaden kissed me and then leaned over to whisper "I've waited to long to do this"

I giggled and slapped his arm, "You're right. You did" I laughed and kissed him again.

A few hours passed and god I've been on cloud nine, I never thought in a million years something like this would happen. 

"Sooo I was thinking since you guys are official now, I can finally ask you. Do you wanna invite Kaden out tonight with me and Mason because we were thinking about going to a drive in and seeing a movie?" Kris said grinning at me over lunch. 

"Yeah i'd love to actually" I smiled back. 

V- Hey so I was thinking tonight.. a double date with Kris and Mason? Only if you want to..

K<3- I'd love that :)

V- Great, come over around 8 then? :)

K<3- I'll see you then lover

"Alrightttt so we're on for tonight" I told Kris while I walked upstairs to change.

I grabbed black running shorts and an oversized white sweater with my black Nikes. Kris helped me curl my hair and I did a light layer mascara. 

Kris wore something similar with black running shorts and an oversized red hoodie that read BOSTON across the front and black vans. She straightened her hair and wore mascara. 

Mason met us at my house around 7:30 and Kaden came right at 8.

We packed up Masons and Kadens car's because we ultimately decided to take separate cars.

"You ready?" Kaden comes up behind me.

I looked over at Kris and she just nodded and headed to Masons car.

I grabbed front seat in Kadens and left.

We all pulled up to Dixie Drive In at the same time and found a spot to park next to each other.

"Kadennnnnnnn!" Stacey ran over and grabbed onto his arm as he was getting out of the car.

Gah she always ruins literally every good moment.

"Oh I knew I smelled something fishy" Kris got out of the car laughing walking next to me.

Stacey glared at Kris as I high fived her and laughed.

"Soo baby can we go talk" Stacey said winking looking towards the bathroom.

"I don't think my GIRLFRIEND would appreciate that too much" Kaden said walking over to me and kissing me.

I looked at Stacey and smiled.

"Sorry hun, guess I just beat you to it this time" I winked.

"You SLUT. Kaden's mine he'll never be yours!!" She yelled back.

"Oh really?" I looked at Kaden inching myself closer until pulling him in and kissed him.

"UUUGH" stacey stomped off.

"That was hot" Kaden said laughing.

"I know right" Krista said mouth open.

"Oh my god, I just need some popcorn" I laughed and started heading over to the snacks.
