My broken bad boy <3

Chapter 8

I eventually got to sleep that night/early morning.. it took a lot of coaxing from Krista. 

I woke up the next morning around 8:30 a.m. more exhausted than I was when I fell asleep. I NEEDED a shower desperately. I had gross snot stains all over my sleeves, mascara ran down to my neck, and my hair being unbrushed and sticking out everywhere.

I hopped in the shower without checking my phone trying to avoid all human interaction. The hot water washed away not only the dry tears and mascara but the pain from last night. I felt better once I got out.

I threw on black ripped jeans, a white long sleeve under tee, with a purple t-shirt on top, and my hightop black converse. My red hair was straightened and I put on some new mascara.

I walked downstairs to see Kris getting up and headed over to the coffee machine to brew herself some before exhaustion consumed her. 

"you feeling any better?" She looked at me hesitantly.

"much. much. much better.. Im gonna see him tomorrow." I looked at her

"you think that's a good idea?" She looked concerned.

"It's the only one I have.." I said while shrugging and trying to change the subject. "So what're the plans for today?" I asked

"Well I actually have a date with Mason.." She gave a slight smile.

"MASON. like MASON Mason?! like went from chubby 5th grade Mason to smoking hot Mason?????" I asked genuinely curious.

"Yes MASON!" She replied throwing her hands up in the air. 

"OOOOOOOOOO" I added teasingly.

*K- hey ved.. you there?* 9:30am

*V- indeed I am, I think we should meet tomorrow.. in person to discuss the message from last night* 9:32am

*K- you made me nervous not replying last night ngl.. listen I was thinking.. there's supposed to be a party tonight at the beach and I was hoping you'd come with me..?* 9:36am

Kris jolted up and snatched my phone to see what was being said.

"Oh my god you're so going!" she squealed.

"There's no way in hell I'm going to a beach party." I laughed while shaking my head

"It's a bit too late for that...." she looked at me hesitantly..

I snatched my phone back to see that "I" replied, god bless American Krista..

*V- sounds good, pick me up at 7:30?* 9:45am

*K- perfect :)* 9:48am

"I, Veda Summers will burn you alive Krista Rogers..." I gave her my death stare

She grinned and took off up the stairs.

Well I can't just bail on him now.. Thanks kris love you too.

I desperately needed sleep so I ate some waffles and fell back asleep on the couch.

A few hours went by, I woke up around 1 p.m. I walked over to my kitchen island to a note and a bag..

"Hey V, I didn't want to wake you but I'm going out to get some takeout for us. Also I got you a little something ;)).. See you soon" -Kris <3 12:50 p.m.

I inched my way towards the bag and took out the tissue paper stuffed inside to find a bathing suit, she must've heard me complain about my other one.. 

It was a bikini 2 piece; black with yellow sunflowers on the top and bottoms. It was SO cute, I loved it.

I picked up the bag and took it upstairs with me to try it on.

I put the swimsuit on grabbed a pair of jean shorts, a black tank crop top that had sunflowers on it to match the bikini under it and a black shaw to wear overtop.

I threw my hair into two messy braids and went overtop my mascara that I had done that morning with my waterproof kind, then threw on black sandals and I was done. 

I heard someone come through the front door so I walked downstairs to see Krista and a bag of five guys my all time favorite restaurant. 

"Jesus this is why I love you" I said walking towards the bag

she laughed at me, grabbed her food and walked over to the kitchen island. 

"So I was thinking since you agreed that id go to this party tonight that maybe after your date with Mason you two could stop by the beach.." I looked over at her with puppy dog eyes.

"I know I'm not getting out of this so, yes Ved we will come. The movie should end around 8:30/9." She laughed and rolled her eyes.

I checked my phone to see it was 2.. Jeez today is going by so incredibly slow..
