"DIE ALREADY! DIEEEE!" I screamed with anger.
"Y-yui--" Kelly's voice trembled. "Y-your skin--"
"I'll never forgive you," I hissed.
"Ooohh, scary," Perdix mocked. "NOW, FALL INTO DESPAIR!"
A massive black hole tore open, spitting out countless weapons wreathed in flames.
" *speaks in demoniac* No one can stop and break my weapons, not even your weak little magic," Perdix just laughed. "Now, despair," I whispered.
In an instant, all of my comrades were slaughtered. Blood spattered across the battlefield like crimson paint on canvas.
My eyes widened in horror.
I turned to Aice.
His body was pierced by dozens of swords and knives. His flesh burned, consumed by fire.
My vision blurred with tears. My throat locked. I couldn't scream. I couldn't even breathe.
"Where are you looking at, milady? I'm right here."
Before I realized it, Perdix was in front of me. A powerful blow hurled me across the ground.
Blood gushed from my lips. My trembling hand pressed against my stomach, only to find a gaping, burning hole.
It was burning like fvckng hell!
Aice
I... I can't do it
I guess... I'll give u--
YUI!
I gasped, snapping back.
I looked at Aice once again... still burning.
"What did I tell you? Stop being a weakling! Stand up and fight!"
Right. Even in flames, even at death's door, Aice never stopped scolding me. His voice, his lessons—they echoed in my mind.
I'm sorry I almost gave up.
"Haha... Hahahahahahahaha," My laugh twisted into madness. "This is making me sick."
"Shall I finish you--"
"This will be the last time I ever feel despair, you fcking demon!" I roared pulling out my scythe.
"Dark Magic: Multiple Spatial." Circles of energy erupted all around me.
( Spatial magic - the art of teleportation. )
"Fall into despair, Perdix."
He smirked.
He flew, surrounding me, he was everywhere--blurring around me with an incredible inhuman speed. I couldn't track him with my eyes, but I could feel his presence.
I closed my eyes.
"There you are," I whispered, swaying my scythe. The blade tore across his body. Teleporting from circle to circle, I matched his speed.
"Die," I whispered.
"Fire Magic: Blue Laser," I said, calmly.
(Blue Laser magic - condensed into a beam hotter than the sun.)
Then it pierced right through his heart.
"H-how d-d-did--- AAAAAAAAAARRRGGHH!!" Perdix's scream ripped through the air before his body disintegrated into ashes.
My vision dimmed. My body trembled with exhaustion.
I'm exhausted. I'm out of energy.
I feel like fainting.
The scythe slipped through my hands. I collapsed, falling to the ground.
