Book 2: Yoru and Sesshomaru - Kyuubi Yokai and Inu Yokai

Six: Jinenji's Garden

* Yoru's Pov *

"Is there any cure to take out the poison?" Rin ask anxiously. 

"It's okay Rin... I have been happy travelling the land with Sesshomaru-sama. Even if I should die here, I have no regrets" says Jaken.

I was holding back my tears while clenching my fist tight. Isn't there anyway to save Jaken? He's annoying but a companion and a friend... 

"Tell Sesshomaru-sama that I will be praying for his well-being from my grave..." says Jaken while a tear slips out of his eye while RIn cries out for him. 

"Yoru-sama, I don't want to see Jaken-sama die! I- I will do anything! IS there anyway to save Jaken-sama?!" Rin cries while I was preventing myself from crying but tears started to fall eventually.

"There is one way" Jaken suddenly says. 

"What is it?" I ask. 

"To the east of here is a herb farm known as Jinenji's Garden. You'll have to get the berries of the sennensou thousand yearflower" Jaken explains. 

"What kind of flower is that?" Rin ask. 

"If you two truly want to save me you must hurry. I must swallow the berries before sunset or the toxic would spread throughout my body and I would..."

"Say no more Jaken. Let's go Rin. We got no time to lose" I said and we immediately head to Jinenji's Garden while riding on top of A-Un.

Soon, we landed near a grasd field and Rin immediately rushes up.

"Rin! A-Un, wait right here" I said and immediately chase after her. 

We then come across a huge garden with plants. This has got to be the Jinenji's Garden that Jaken was talking about. 

"This it it Yoru-sama!" says Rin. 

"Let's ask for the herb" I said as we walk towards the small hut. 

Rin enters and we were questioned by an old lady. 

"Who is it?" She ask. 

"Madam, we want to see Jinenji-san. It's an emergency" I said. 

"Jinenji isn't seeing anyone today. Go on home" She says. 

Rin then has a worried look. I can read her mind. She's worried about Jaken as well. 

"Then Madam, at least let us have some berries of the sennensou thousand yearflower" I said. 

"What do you need those for?" The old lady ask. 

"A companion of ours is poison and if we don't it to him by sunset, he will die" I said. 

"That's very regrettable. Unfortunately I do not have any of the sennensou berries" says the voice from beneath the futon. 

That must be Jinenji. But why is he hiding the covers? As if she read my mind, Rin eventually voiced out her question and the old lady revealed that Jinenji is a hanyou and currently he is in his human form and doesn't want anyone to see it. 

"So Jinenji is a hanyou too. I know of a hanyou. His name is Inuyasha" I said.

"Inuyasha? You know him?" Jinenji questions.

"He is a friend and my cousin Kagome is travelling with him while I'm travelling with his older half brother. Jinenji-san, if you do not have the sennensou berries I understand. But do tell me where can I get them?" I ask.
