Book 2: Yoru and Sesshomaru - Kyuubi Yokai and Inu Yokai

Nine: Kyuubi

* Yoru's Pov *

It's been a while since I had recover my kyuubi powers ad right now, I was accompanying Rin and Jaken to get some food when I sensed some wolves by the river bank.

"Rin, wait!" 

However, Rin got out of the bushes before she could even stop. I appear behind her and I realized that it's the wolves who were with Koga.

The literal wolves growled at us while I glare at him, about to fight when they were calming their wolves down. 

Rin's eyes tremble which I conclude that she was having a flashback on when Koga and his wolves had attacked her. 

"Yoru-sama" Rin immediately hide behind me while at the same time, Jaken manages to get out of the bushes. 

"What's wrong Rin?" Jaken questions. 

"Look in front Jaken. Those are the wolves that attacked Rin" I said while glaring at them.

"E-Ehh? Aren't you the girl with Kagome-nee-san during the panther attack?" One of them ask.

"Right! You are the one that punched Koga!"

"Hah! He deserves it! Technically all of you wolves do. Leave this area immediately" I demanded.

They later introduce themselves as Hakkaku and Ginta. I guess they haven't sense that I am a kyuubi yokai yet.

"Jaken, I leave them to you. If necessary, let them know who I really am" I said as I take Rin away from the wolves.

"I'm scared Yoru-sama. They're the ones who attacked the village" says Rin while clenching to my clothes tightly. 

"Don't worry Rin. I won't let anyone hurt you ever again" I assured and she nods. 

Just then, Sesshomaru came and I explain to him the situation with the wolves. He then heads to where Jaken is while Rin and I stayed further away but still able to see them.

Soon after, the wolves left and Rin was obviously relief which prompt me to pat her head. 

"Rin, weren't you going to catch fish?" Sesshomaru questions. 

"Oh yes!" Rin exclaims and she gets into the river with Jaken accompanying her. 

"Sesshomaru, if you had any later I swear I would have beaten those wolves" I said. 

"Are you trying to use your powers?" He questions.

"Not really. Even if I hadn't gotten my powers back I would still have done it. After all, I can't forgive them for what they did to Rin" I said.

"Aren't wolves and foxes supposed to be allies?" Sesshomaru asks. 

"I think I heard about it from the kyuubi within my subconscious. She told me that wolves and foxes are allies and are suppose to work together to protect each other. 

However, after knowing that the Yorozoku attacked Rin, is simply unforgivable. I can't exactly accept them as my ally" I said. 

"The Kyuubi huh?"

"Sesshomaru you knew from the beginning since we met. Then do you know about the demons would be after my blood?" I questioned. 

"You're strong enough to protect yourself. If necessary I will step in" He says and I smiled.

"Arigatou. The Kyuubi tells me that the nine tails blood is a legend all demons are dying to have it. Even a drop can enhance their power by three times.

Our blood is much like the Sacred Jewel but still weaker. I'm pretty sure most of the demons out there have already been notified of the sudden return of the Kyuubi.

I'm thinking that there is even a possibility that Naraku may just come after me as well. And also, if all my blood are being sucked out of my body, I die and that demon would gain an eternal body" I explained.
