Book 2: Yoru and Sesshomaru - Kyuubi Yokai and Inu Yokai

Thirteen: A Member of the Band of Seven, Ginkotsu

* Yoru's Pov *

We began to run into the forest where Inuyasha proudly claims that  the enemy won't be able to release any aerial attacks. I was hoping he was right but my eyes widen when I sense another weapon coming. 

"Inuyasha, don't underestimate the enemy!" I said.

Just as I said it, a huge blast was heard from the direction we ran away from but further. We look up into the sky to see another kind of weapon.

"Nani?!"

"Damn it, is he planning to burn the entire forest?! We need to get out of here!" I said. 

However we were too late when we were surrounded by the fire of the woods.

"Inuyasha..." Shippo calls.

"Don't panic! The enemy is attacking at random" says Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha, like I said do not underestimate them. Though even I do not know the strength of the Band of Seven" I said. 

We then decided to keep running while the enemy keeps firing another kind of aerial attack. We escaped the forest and headed inside a cave which Shippo found.

We enter the cave while putting Kagome, Sango and Miroku on the floor. Though I doubt this ia definition of a safe place. High chance that the enemy would find us soon.

"Oi Yoru, how do you explain about... that?" Inuyasha ask while eyeing me.

Oh right, I'm still in my kyuubi form. I then explain everything to Inuyasha and Shippo. And I mean literally everything. From how I was originally from this era to Inukimi-sama sealing my memories and powers, how I recovered them and all.

"So you are the Kyuubihime that disappeared long long ago!" Shippo exclaims. 

"I just got back my powers recently and I have already gotten assistance from Koga and his wold tribe though I don't fully accept it" I said.

Inuyasha remains silent as he stands up.

"Inuyasha?"

"Yoru, Shippo, stay here to watch over them. And do not come outside" He says. 

"What are you trying to do Inuyasha?" Shippo ask. 

"Hah! Isn't it obvious?" Inuyasha says while heading outside. 

"I have to stay strong!" Shippo says as he tries to motivate himself.

"Don't worry Shippo. If anything happens, Kirara and I are here too. Besides, I'm pretty sure we foxes protect one another" I said with a smile.

"Yoru- Kyuubihime..."

"Yoru is fine. I haven't seen myself as the Princess Nine Tails yet" I said.

I gasp when I felt a presence near the cave entrance. Shippo and Kirara quietly goes only to see another person. Band of Seven...

"W-What is that?!" Shippo questions. 

"I think he's a member from the Band of Seven" I said. 

The person suddenly began to attack the cave. I take a sniff. My eyes widen as I come into realization, gun powder!

The cave began to rumble as the rocks were starting to fall and Shippo crying out that we would be buried alive.

"That is not going to happen while I am here!" I said while changing into my kyuubi form.

"Yoru..."

"Shippo, stay here" I said while exiting the cave.

"Yoru, be careful!" Shippo yells.

I then come face to face with a member of the Band of Seven who seemingly uses guns as his weapons. This is going to be a tough battle.
