Time and trying to capture a moment

Fleeting,

Moving, carrying on

Never stopping to question or analyze,

Time.

Time is a track,

never being built,

For it goes without relying on a hinge

Or a span,

A Lifespan, a time spent.

Let us stop and pause a moment.

Take a picture,

Capture it in your hands.

That revolutionary tool

That steals your life that is right before you.

Breaking and shattering the event.

Destroyed by a need to remember it.

Your camera becomes a poo poo platter of it.

Shitty destroyed moments

To help you recollect

a time in progress,

That you couldn't help but stress out,

Hold it out,

Like a note belted out.

Pretty, of course

But after a time it becomes sour.

For the power has died.

The moment has flown by.

Missed,

While you were busy trying to capture it.

A match being lit

Burn that photo,

Become like a hobo

Without anything holding you down to the ground

You stand on.

So that you may fly to as far as the land has been drawn out.

Take a ship across the vast ocean sea,

Where time disintegrates into infinity,

As you,

Alone on your trip,

Sail into the slipping away moments.

Sail into and become part of this moment.

The moment you read this word "Read" right here on the page.

Look up and sees the suns beautiful rays.

Look around you

At the sea and realize

The sea describes, personifies

"Your sea of possibility"

You have in your Life.

Stop holding onto what has happened and just live with the Now.

Before your whole life happens,

For then you will go away.

Into an eternal sleep.

In those preceding moments the reality will really hit.

And then you will be terrified,

Afraid,

As the Now that has escaped you up until the present finally catches up to you.

And you defy being lost

to the somehow inevitable end which we all must contend with.

In The End,

It all mattered,

In the end,

The poo poo platter will serve you,

But the memories may not all be as solid.
