Ross and I made our way to Sociology.

"I realized I never had an actual chance to tell you how well you played on Saturday." I said, trying to start a conversation.

"Yeah sorry again" Ross replied sheepishly. I simply waved his statement off, having already forgiven him.

"You guys really killed it, did you write all those songs yourself?" I asked.

"Riker does most of the writing, I'm not much of a words guy if I'm being honest" he said laughing.

"I can tell" I giggled back.

"Did you have a favorite?" he asked, looking excited.

"I really like 'Fallin for You', gives off major The Wrecks vibes" I said bashfully knowing it was a love song.

"Oh no way, you like The Wrecks?! I didn't realize anyone else knew about them" He said in shock, impressed at my taste in music.

"Yeah I love them, they're my favorite band for sure, well maybe second favorite after R5" I joked.

We continued talking about The Wrecks for the rest of our walk. Class went by pretty uneventfully and so did the rest of the day.

Wednesday rolled around much faster than I would've liked, having assignments due in almost every class including two chapters due today in English. At least afterschool, I'll be hanging with Rocky, he's always a good time.

I met up with Ross before class started, he's begun now meeting me at my locker in the mornings. He and I walked to English together, me bubbling about last night's reading. I guess I really am a nerd. Ross mainly just listened, sometimes supplying his own opinions but he seemed to just enjoy hearing my views.

"How's your project coming along for English?" I asked, finally having detailed all my hatred for Gatsby.

"Oh decent enough I guess, we're going to Marcie's tonight to work on it" he said, not seeming very thrilled to talk about English projects.

Before I could offer up how I'd be going over to his house tonight to work with Rocky, Mrs Hoffman came in and started class.

School finished up pretty averagely. Once home I took a quick shower, wanting to rid my skin of the sweaty feeling from having gym last period. As my hair dried I threw on a pair of leggings and an old college t-shirt from my mom before throwing on my favorite black converse. I ran out of the house, putting the address Rocky sent me into my GPS. I knew they lived somewhere close because I saw Ross walking that one day, but I don't know which house.

After a quick ride, I pulled up in front of a stereotypical suburban home. I double checked that it was the right number, and hopped out. I rang the doorbell and stood awkwardly on the front door step.

"Hello?" I heard Ross's voice say as the door began to open.

"Hey Ross-ohmygod" I squeaked covering my eyes, feeling my cheeks redden at the sight of a sweaty shirtless Ross Lynch standing holding the front door open.

"Oh my god, sorry Emmie, what are you doing here? Did we have plans?" he said panickedly.

"I'm here to work with Rocky on our project, I'm so sorry, oh my god, I can come back later" i said so embarrassed. Don't get me wrong, I've seen guys shirtless before- it just feels different with Ross. For starters, I wasn't expecting him to be so muscular, but secondly I'm not used to seeing him in this light. For someone so well built he never shows off.
