Aimes Pov.
The next day, however. Julie and I decided to take the team outside for some off the ice training. Lots of stretching invloved. It took us a while, but once Charlie got behind it, and reminded everyone that I was a co captain, they all followed us out to the field.

“Coach isn’t here, why do we have to be?” Connie groaned.

“We have a game tonight, we have to work out,” Portman exclaimed.

“I say mutiny who’s with me!” Goldberg sighed, tired.

“Goldberg. I’m too tired to mutiny” Dwayne sighed.

“Come on guys. It’s not like we couldn’t use the conditioning” I reasoned, try to keep positive.

“Speak for yourself babe” Portman smirked.

“Hey! Her name’s Amethyst not babe” Adam growled

Adam Banks, my overprotective hero. He’s truly incredible.

“No only to you Banks” Portman exclaimed annoyed

“Damn straight only to me!” Adam yelled.

Wow. I’ve never seen him so angry at someone. Oh boy here we go.

“Hey. Don’t, tell me how to talk. Rich boy” Portman shoved Adam.

“Piss off Portman!” I yelled shoving him back

“Shut up Bombay” Portman shoved me this time.

“Hey Portman chill!” Fulton yelled

“You want a piece of me!” Portman yelled.

After that it was just all of us trying to keep Adam, Charlie, Fulton and Portman separated. I wrapped my arms around Adam’s waist, trying to calm him down.

“Hey yo! Team USA! What are you gonna do today? A million jumping jacks?” a boy yelled.

It was the kid who’d been pestering us from the stands the whole time we’ve been here. Mostly Jesse.

“This kid’s crazier than me, forget about him. Look Fulton!”

“Hey hey hey!” Charlie and I tried to stop another fight from happening.

“Hey man I’m getting sick of you” Jesse burst through us talking to the boy.

“And I’m getting sick of seeing the USA represented by a bunch of whining babies!”

“Well to bad you can’t back up that mouth!” I exclaimed being very much done with all the fighting.

“Me and my boys can take you anywhere any time” the boy smirked.

“I don’t see no boys” Jesse scoffed

“I got 'em waiting. Grab your gear and let's go play some schoolyard puck, or maybe you forgot what it’s like to play for real pride!” The boy yelled.

Some security had to escort him out of the field since he wasn’t a player, but we ended up grabbing out rollerblades and we went with him.

It was an old basketball court, now used for street hockey.

“My little brother Russ here has been telling me that you have been chokin’ big time” a tall boy told us.

“Well your brothers got a big mouth” I retorted.

They didn’t seem happy when I said that.

“So does my sister” Charlie mumbled through his teeth.
