Not alone anymore

Chapter 26

"Emma I'd like you to give Granny back that check".   I lift my head off the pillow and asked.  "You want me to do what?"  "I said, I'd like you to give Granny the check back please".  "Regina I thought this was all settled. You agreed to let me help you with this wedding. How do I do that if I give the check back?"   "I'll give you the money Emma".   I sit up against the headboard again and turn the light back on. "Regina this brings us back to square one with you paying for everything. No I won't give that check back. Granny and I already have everything worked out. We've got a payment plan and a contact that we both signed. Please let's just drop this. It's done Regina".  "I really don't like that you had to borrow all that money".   "Babe I may not even need it all. When everything is payed for I'll give her whatever is leftover is as the first payment".  "So your really not going to budge on this are you?"   "Nope".   "Well I don't like it but you are an adult and can make your own decisions".  "Thank you. Now is this done and over with? I'm really tired and I'd like to get some sleep".  "Yes I guess so".  "Good thank you. I love you".  "I love you too". We kiss and try to go to sleep again. I was out almost instantly. The next morning Regina woke me as usual for work. I showered while she went to make me breakfast. Usually she waits for her sister to eat breakfast but she ate with me. She said she was really hungry. When we were done I gathered my things, kiss Regina and leave for work. I checked in with Granny when I got there then went to the office to check on a few things that I was asked to then I went to help out in the kitchen with some of the lunch prep work. When I was done that I checked out the dinning area. I restocked, cashed out some tabs and made sure all the waitresses got their tips.  "Emma can you come back and help me in the kitchen again?  I wanna get started on one of the soups for tomorrow and a special I'm thinking about making for tomorrow's dinner special".  "Sure Granny I'll be right in".  I cut all the vegetables that she said she need for her recipes. Then she asked me to go make the daily deposit at the bank and stop at the store or a few things.  I count last nights cash out money that Granny put in the deposit bag and it adds up perfectly. I wrote a note to put in the main cash register and took 50 dollars to go to the store for Granny. Once all of that was done I go back to the diner and put everything in the refrigerator and go find Granny in the office. "Hey I'm back.  Here's the bank slip".  "Thank you Emma. Did you get everything I needed at the store?"  "Yup it's in the fridge and the store receipt is in the cash register along with the change. I put a slip in for 50 but it was only 36 and change".   "Excellent. Thank you. Well your shift ended 30  minutes ago so you can leave if you'd like".  "Ok. Thanks, but before I go I wanted to let you know that Regina knows about the loan and she wasn't happy about it. It's nothing to worry about, we talked it all out and I think we came to a happy medium. She's not upset with you, she was upset that I got a loan".  "I'm sorry I caused trouble between you and Regina".  "Don't be sorry. Your helping me and I thank you for that. Regina just wants to pay for everything and I'm not comfortable with that".  "Emma dear you both need to be careful, it's not easy when a couple in a relationship are equally stubborn. You have every reason to want to help pay for the wedding but you must remember money can cause so many problems in a marriage".  "I understand Granny and thanks again. We talked through this and I believe if we always talk things out we can get through anything".  "How did you get so smart Emma?"   "I guess it was from all the help of the few people that love me". I say with a smile, making Granny smile.  "Ok Emma get out of here now before you get into more trouble with Regina".  I smile again and say. "I'm leaving now. Thanks again. I'll see you the day after tomorrow. Call me if you need anything".  "I will. Have a good night".  I nod and I leave the diner to drive home. As I walked to the front door I hoped that Regina and her sister weren't arguing again. I unlock the door and open it slowly. I was happy when I didn't hear any loud shouting. I walk in, close the door and lock it. I walk into the living room and Regina and Zelena sitting there. Regina looks absolutely beautiful. Shit I forgot about our date.  She stands up and walks over to me. She looks me over as I'm still wearing my Granny's t-shirt and black work pants. "Your late".  "You look stunning". She gives me a big smile and says. "Your forgiven".   "I'm so sorry I'm late I had to go to the bank and the store for Granny before I left and both places had long lines".  "It's ok my love we can do this later. Your off all day tomorrow right? We can do something then".   "No please just give me a half hour to shower and get dressed. We can still go out".  "Emma it's almost 8 o'clock. I know we wanted to go out but by the time you get ready and we get to the restaurant it's probably going to be 9 o'clock and who knows how long it'll take to get our food. We both got up early this morning so let's just change into something comfortable, maybe order a pizza and watch a movie that we haven't seen yet".   "Regina I'm so sorry. I feel like such an asshole. How can you be so nice to me?  You got all dressed up and you look gorgeous. I'm so damn sorry".  I can no longer look at her so I look down at the floor.  She puts her right hand on my cheek and caresses it.   "Emma it's ok. I'm not upset. I've come home late before and we had to change our plans. You had responsibilities at work that needed to be done. You had a large amount of money that needed to get deposited. It's ok sweetheart. Let's just relax tonight and we'll have a wonderful day tomorrow".    "Your sure your ok with this?"  She kisses me and says.   "Yes my love. I'm definitely ok. Now go up and take a shower. What kind of pizza would you like?"  "Hawaiian?"   "Sounds wonderful my love. I'll be getting an everything pizza. She says with a little smile.  We kiss again and I run upstairs to take a shower. Regina goes into to the kitchen to get the the local pizza place menu and bring it into the living room. She sits next to Zelena and they both look over the menu. "Would you like me to order you something Z?"    "Well if you don't mind, I'd like a few slices of your pizza".  "No I think that will fine.  Do you want anything else, chicken fingers or french fries?"   "No thanks. The pizza is fine, and when it arrives I'll just grab some and go upstairs and watch some tv".   "Zelena it's ok you can watch a movie with us".   "No it's supposed to be your date night and I'm sure Emma wouldn't want me around".   "Z that's not true. I know it'll take time for you both to be friends again but you'll never get there by avoiding each other".   "Well we'll just see how Emma feels. If she's ok that I stick around then I will".   "Fine. I'll order the pizza and then go change. We'll see what happens".  After my shower I dry off and get dressed. When I come out of the bathroom I see Regina putting on her pajamas. "Damn babe. Do you ever not look sexy?"   I ask with a straight face because I'm really getting turned on.  "The answer to that is no my love and get those thoughts out of your your head because the pizza's will be here soon".   "But baby you are so damn sexy. Don't ya wanna have some fun?"  We kiss passionately and I start groping her body.  "Shit Emma we can't do this".  I start sucking on her neck.  "Now. We can't do this noooow..... Oh shit Emma please don't stop doing that.  Fuck".   She always loves when I grind against her as I suck on her neck.  "You still wanna go see if the pizza is here babe?"   She breathes out heavily a few times and when she speaks the words can barely be heard.  "No Emma. No. Please".  I look at our reflection in the mirror, her eyes are closed and her mouth is open. "Bed Em. Bed".   I lead her over to bed and we start to undress each other while still kissing. We lay down. "I want you my love. Now".   I nod and we begin to make love. It starts off nice and slow then gets more fast paced. I use quick movements and it all feels so good. Regina wraps her legs around my lower back and holds on tight. She also starts scratching her nails up and down my back.  "Shit Regina. It feels so damn great".  "Oh yes sweetheart yes. So fucking good".  I love when she uses bad words during sex. It's so sexy.  "You like it Gina?"   "Mmmmm".  Is all she says with a nod. After a while she squeezes her legs around means digs her nails into my lower back as she start to orgasm. "Shit, shit. Ahh. Fuck Emma. Keep going. I want more".  I keep going because I'm almost there myself. Not long after Regina's orgasm she starts having another one and I can't hold back as I cum too. We hold each other tight as we try to come back to reality. I pull out of her and lay down at her side and continue to hold her. Everything we just did was so great. "Emma that felt so different than it usually does. It was almost magical I guess I could say".   "It was pretty awesome wasn't it babe".  "Yes my love. Totally awesome as you say". She says with a little chuckle.  "Darling?"  "Yeah babe. What do you need?"  "I want pizza now but I don't want to get out of bed".  I laugh a bit and say.  "I can carry you down if you want".   "You'd do that for me?"   "Of course I would babe. You don't even have to ask".   "I guess we should get up now and get dressed because I'm really hungry".   "Ok babe. I wouldn't mind some pizza".   We both get up slowly and start to redress. When we're done we exit our bedroom and walk to the end of the stairs and I turn to Regina and ask.  "So babe do you want me to carry you down?"  She has a big smile on her face and says. "I think I'll be ok dear but thank you".  She gives me a kiss and then we hold hands as we walk downstairs. We go into the kitchen and see the pizza boxes on the island.  I get us both a plate and we get a few slices of pizza and then something to drink and went out to the living room. Zelena gives us a knowing smirk as we walk in. We sit together on the love seat with Zelena across from us. "Nice to see you both joined me for some pizza. I was just looking for something to watch but nothing has caught my eye. Do either of you have a suggestion?"   I answer with a question. "Well do we want comedy, drama, biopic maybe a gangster movie?"   "What about a rom/com?"   "Definitely not Zelena. What about something with action?"  I ask.  "Figures you'd want that. What do you want Regina?"   "I don't care. I'm tired. I'll probably go to bed after I eat. You two can fight this out".   "I'm with Gina Z.  You can watch what ever you want. We're going to bed after we eat".  "Fine but maybe you two can try and be a little quieter than you where earlier".  She says with a laugh.  Regina and I finish our pizza, say goodnight to Zelena and I bring our dirty dishes to the kitchen to put them in the sink. We'll do them in tomorrow. We go back up up to our bedroom and get in bed. "Emma. I love you so much". She turns her head to kiss me. "Baby I love too. Goodnight babe".   "Good night my love".  We kiss again and drift off to sleep.
