chapter 17

i heard a knock on the door and i looked up at aiden before removing the blankets so i could get up and go answer it

i opened the door and saw ally standing there with her usual broad ear to ear smile. i opened the door allowing her to come in then closed it after she had fully entered the room

"wassuppp" she said pulling me into a hug and i returned her affection with a smile as i hugged her back

she looked over my shoulder to see aiden laid up with blankets all around him on the couch and guessing by the look on her face she realized what was going on.

"i'm just here to grab a couple things then i'll leave you two to it" she said pointing at the scene of aiden in the couch. i let out a slight laugh and walked back over to where aiden was

"if you need any help just lemme know okay?" i said to her as she walked off to where i presumed was the bedroom

i looked over at aiden and he was looking directly at me "what?" i asked him and he shrugged his shoulders "nothing i was just thinking" he moved a little in the couch and so did i

"hmm thinking about what?" i asked and he was about to say something when ally came back into the living room

"sooo about tomorrow, i'll be here around 11:00 am so be up and ready we have a whole day planned" she looked over at aiden before continuing "i was thinking maybe we could get our nails done or something?" she asked and i agreed to her idea

it's been a while since i've either gotten my hair or nails done and i was starting to miss the feeling of when you got dolled up and you'd take your phone out to take cute snaps so you could post them.

ally had taken a bag out with some stuff that she left and i gave her a kiss on the cheek telling her bye before i closed the door and walked back over to aiden

i sat beside him and curled into him, this was becoming my favorite feeling and i would give anything to lie here with him forever.

i looked up at him and he looked down at me before he said something "i don't want you going to that party" he said as he looked away and i was a bit shocked that he had said that

"why?" i said softly needing an answer as quick as possible

"i just don't think it's your scene, there's gonna be college kids wasted everywhere, girls dancing topless taking shots, and niggas tryna see who can take home the most females, it's just not somewhere i want you to be" he said still not looking at me

i shifted in the couch so i could face him better "i'm still going, yes maybe i'm not a party person but this is my chance to step out of my little protective bubble, i want to get the full experience of what a fun life is like and you of all persons should get that" i was still facing him and he turned to face me

our bodies were now inches apart and i could feel his hands wrapped around mine gently using his thumb to caress wrist "i can't tell you what to do but i'm coming with you and i don't care if you don't want me there because i have to make sure that you're okay" he said looking directly in my eyes

"thanks for not trying to rule over my life i appreciate that and i would actually love for you to come with me" i told him and he leaned forward this time resting his head on my chest

i leaned back so i would be flat and he would lie comfortably on my chest, i rubbed the small area on his neck and in no time he was fast asleep.
