chapter 19

the day of the party
we had just gotten back to the hotel from another day of boring lectures, this week went by pretty fast and i was hoping that it would've lasted a bit longer but all good things must come to an end right?

i took in a deep breath as i walked into the lobby observing the different things happening around me. there were coolers with ice everywhere, all types of liquor, speakers and a couple of guys loading stuff into the back of a truck

i assumed that they were taking the items to the location for the party tonight

i continued to walk but then i felt someone pull me back, i turned around to see aiden standing in front of me "i'm gonna help them set up by the lake but i'll be back to make sure you have a ride there" he kissed me and told me bye, i watched as he walked off to the group of guys helping them lift some things

aiden and i have just been taking things slow for the past week, we still haven't settled on titles and i wasn't complaining due to the fact that i might not even see him again after we leave

i have been trying so hard not to think of that and i'm sure that ally hasn't even allowed the thought to brush against her brain but as much as we hated it we had to accept that it would soon become our reality.

i pushed the room door open and plopped myself up on the couch, i wouldn't have enough time to watch a movie so i just decided to go take a shower and call up ally to come over so we could get ready together.

getting up i opened my phone and started to scroll through instagram, there were mainly posts about how excited everyone was about tonight and they were making me a bit nervous

i put my phone down and turned the shower on before i got in. i relaxed under the heat of the water before i started to shower.

after i was finished i turned the shower off and got out wrapping a towel around my body, i grabbed my phone and walked into the bedroom then i decided to facetime ally

"girllll wassuppp" she screamed through the phone

"come over we're getting ready together" i told her and i could see the smile forming on her face

"okay i'll be up in five minutes" she hung up and i put my phone on the charger before looking through a pile of aiden's clothes for a big enough shirt

when i found one i slipped it over my head and put on a pair of underwear, i went out into the kitchen to get a bottle of water then i got a text from an unknown number

unknown number: stop seeing aiden.

i laughed at the text because 1 nobody intimidated me and 2 i wasn't even seeing aiden so that didn't make any sense

me:i'm not seeing him tho🤣

unknown number: if i see you at that party with him tonight it's over for you.

me:okay scary, red bikini don't miss it 😘

obviously i didn't know who it was but whoever it was didn't have the guts to come to me over instagram or something where i'd know who they were but as i said no one intimidates me and i was going to that party tonight regardless.

i heard a knock on the door and i went to answer it seeing ally stand in the hallway, i opened the door allowing her to come inside. she had her makeup bag and another little bag which i assumed had her clothes in it
