Chapter 8 : Interships

Set during the Interships.

Ms Joke the smile hero. Wanted me for the intership.

Even though she works in another school.

I can still work with her.

The 1st day was just settling in.

Then the rest of the time with her. We went on patrols and i learn how to trick Villains.

The entire time i text with Hitoshi and Ochako and Beru. Oh i forgot to tell you that the internship started after mine and Hitoshi's date. But anyways I text them about how its going and asking the same with them.

I remember one day during the Intership. Ms Joke did such an awesome thing.

There was a robbery happening and Ms Joke just walked up to the robbers.

"Hey guys," said Ms Joke happily.

"Get back," said the robbers.

"Knock knock," said Ms Joke.

"Um Who's there," said the robbers.

"The interrupting cat," said Ms Joke.

"The Interrupting," said the robbers.

"Meow," said Ms Joke.

Then the robbers started laughing out of nowhere.

I know that Ms Joke's quirk is Outburst.

According to what I've heard, this Quirk allows Ms Joke to force others around her to burst into laughter so intense that it dulls their motor skills and cognitive abilities. It is useful for incapacitating villains. The full extent of this Quirk's power, as well as its limitations, are currently unknown.

When activated, a blue aura appears around Ms. Joke. It is unclear whether or not Ms. Joke must say anything to make people laugh, or if the laughter is purely spontaneous.

I didn't know that Ms Joke had to tell a joke to activate her quirk.

Later in the day. During lunch.

"Um Ms Joke," I said.

"Yes Jun Ban," said Ms Joke.

"Do you need to tell a joke to activate your quirk," I asked.

"Oh no I make them think that I need to tell a joke to use my quirk, so next time they see me they will try to stop me from telling a joke," answered Ms Joke.

"Oh cool," I said.

I learned a lot from Ms Joke during this Intership.
