Meilani Marie
I couldn't believe what I just found out.
I drove quickly down the road, running through stop signs. My mind raced with thoughts, and the loud music playing failed to drown my thoughts.
Shaking my head in disbelief, I finally arrived at my house and took the keys out of the ignition.
Walking to my door, I heard my phone ring numerous times.
But of course I ignored it, because I knew exactly who was calling.
Entering the house I immediately entered the quest room, that Melody was occupying. I gathered all of her belongs and took multiple trips in and out of the house, leaving her stuff on the door step.
And I even called the maintenance workers to come change the locks.
After removing her belongings, I sat on the couch kicking my feet up as I sipped wine in satisfaction.
It was only a matter of time before I heard the door no rattling and her screaming for me to open up.
Without moving a muscle I screamed back, "There's no need to get in honey all of your stuff is right in front of you. So get off my property before I make you leave."
"Girl what is your problem? Are you crazy?" She screamed back
"It's funny how the girl who is screaming from outside my door is asking if I'm crazy." I said while laughing
"Open this door right now!" She screeched
"How about you ask Dae Dae to open it since your having his baby."
And with that being said, I got no response. All I could hear was tires screeching as a car zoomed away.
And I didn't care at all. How dare she try to live in my house, lie to me, and get pregnant by my abusive ex who is supposed to be in jail.
She has a lot of nerve. And it makes me forget that we were ever real friends.
The situation was just far beyond me, and I decided to just ignore it for now.
Laying on the throw pillows, I closed my eyes and let all my worries fall away.

Later that day; 10:45pmA yawn escaped my mouth as I searched for my work clothes in my closet. Today was the first day that I'm returning to work after months of being off. My job isn't ordinary, and not one that is usually socially acceptable. But it pays the bills. I've been working as an exotic dancer at an expensive private club for two years now.
Dancing was more of a financial choice, instead of a "following my dreams" type of job. When I first started I was in desperate need of money. I needed to get my own house far away from my old neighborhood, because gang activity was at large, and I was the ex of a gang leader. I was both running from him, and my troubled past. So, I tried to start a new positive life in a good neighborhood, where no one knew who I was.
The only downside was the area had a small amount of open jobs that paid well. So I had to look for employment in a non traditional way. Usually I don't tell people I'm a dancer, because the job has a negative tone. But honestly my job isn't that bad. I make good money, and I never have to do anything that I don't want to do.
I took a lot of time off due to the drama in my life. But, bills are starting to pile up, and I need to go back to living financially comfortable.
Looking in the mirror, I observed my outfit for the night. I wore a metallic purple lace up sports bra with matching booty shorts, and my boots stood tall with silver glitter on them.
I simply fluffed my hair, did a simple makeup look, and got ready to leave for the night.
I was used to being out late and working from 12 am to 5 am. It may seem like a short amount of time, but those five hours pay very well.
Grabbing my car keys, I headed to the door. I took a second to relax in the car, preparing for my night. Sometimes working at the club has its faults, and it's best to prepare for them. Some guys want more than they can get, which puts me in an uncomfortable position. Shaking the thoughts away, I turned the car on and drove to work.
Once I reached the building, I saw the familiar strobe lights beaming from inside.
I checked my appearance one more time before heading inside.
I walked right into my personal dressing room, and was shocked at what was placed on my dresser.
It was a pink gift box with a bow on it.
A smile crept onto my face as I opened it. But that smile dropped quickly as I saw what was inside.
It was a pair of plastic eyes, with a note that said "I'm always watching."
I gasped loudly as I grabbed my belongs and exited right back out the building. There was no way I could work after that.
It was a creepy gift, and the meaning behind it was clear. And sadly I think I knew who sent it.
But I hope my suspicions are wrong.
