"Oh. You're early."

Baekhyun found Seju and his mom on the dining Saturday morning. Seemed like Seju had just woke up, and Mrs. Shin was busy preparing the breakfast for them.

Baekhyun greeted the both of them with a smile. He put on his coat, and that's when Seju realized he was wearing clothes like he was about to go outside.

"You're going somewhere?" he asked.

"Yeah," Baekhyun replied. He was conscious because the two were looking at him with interest. From his fake memories, he knew he was the type of person in this lifetime who didn't go outside often. "I'm going over at Sehun's today."

"Oh," Mrs. Shin placed a bowl of kimchi fried rice on the table. "It's a boy, Baekhyun."

Baekhyun got the message immediately. He scratched his head, not seeing Seju's reaction. "It's my and Seju's co-worker at the office. He has a wife, and said wife needs to go somewhere on the countryside, something about her parents."

"I see," Mrs. Shin muttered.

"I was invited over their house to help Sehun take care of their daughter. Irene couldn't bring the baby with her."

Baekhyun looked at Seju. The male was holding a spoon on his right hand, digging on the bowl of food in front of him. The other dishes weren't even ready yet.

"I told you this last night, Seju-yah." Baekhyun noted. It was because he saw Seju's face like he betrayed him.

"Is that so? I can't remember."

"I did. Probably you were too sleepy or busy that you can't remember it."

Mrs. Shin laughed. It was her sophisticated, soft laugh that Baekhyun laughed as well. Only Seju remained quiet.

"Come on, son," Mrs. Shin turned to Seju. "Baekhyun's a grown up. Let him go out."

It was funny. Warm. Baekhyun recollected from his fake memories that Seju had always been protective of him since they were still students. He only began letting Baekhyun by himself since the latter worked with him under the same company.

"Sehun's wife just gave birth almost three months ago. Is it safe for her to travel now?" It was Seju who threw a question.

"Oh, don't worry. Sehun's dropping her off after I get there. And I was told it'll be safe now. Medicine has really got this far, huh?"

Baekhyun received a nod from the younger male. Mrs. Shin started putting down bowls and plates of other dishes on the table, and, after persuading Baekhyun on eating first, began talking to the two about random things. The old woman was showcasing her care to both Seju and Baekhyun and that made Baekhyun's morning beautiful.

After breakfast, Seju followed Baekhyun on the door. Unlike Baekhyun, he didn't bother wearing something to warm him up. It didn't feel cold for him like Baekhyun felt.

"I didn't know you were this close to Sehun. I mean, for you to agree on taking care of his child."

Baekhyun turned to Seju. He didn't know the male followed him. "Well, he couldn't trust and hire a temporary nanny. And it's not like it'll be hard to do, the baby would mostly sleep. I like kids, so I volunteered."
