Shraddha and her mom were shook listening to what happened. They remained silent for a few minutes. "I am sorry, I didn't know you had such a bitter past. Why did you let so much pain remain within? From now on you can share anything with me, I would never judge you," she assured. After living alone with this nightmare for such a long time it was such a relief sharing it.

"It is so disturbing to know what has happened, I can only imagine how much pain the girl had gone through alone, and your fear and guilt are reasonable. However, you cannot be blaming yourself forever Nikhil. The situation is way past out of your hands now. Don't worry, we can fix what we can now." Mrs Bora said, consoling me.

Mrs Bora advised me to visit her for a few days for therapy and prescribed a few medicines before she left. Shraddha stayed back and cooked lunch for me. From deep inside my heart, the warmth welcomed me like an old friend. I felt very safe and comfortable after a long time. We spent the whole day hugging and cuddling.

"I have to go home, Mom is waiting to shout at me for lying to her and staying with you all these days," Shraddha said, starting to pack her stuff. "Yea, I get it. Who wouldn't?" I replied bleakly. I hugged her tight and then looked at her silently while she walked away.

I visited Mrs Bora for therapy every week, took medicines and followed every step of the treatment religiously. Darkness was being induced into my life gradually in small doses. Shraddha was by my side throughout, as the month passed, I felt much better than earlier.

One fine day we revealed our relationship to Rakesh and other friends. All of them were awestruck listening to our stories. Though Rakesh didn't look very happy, he coldly smiled. Not to brag, but Shraddha was a 10 and she fell for an average guy like me. I totally get Rakesh's envy for us.

"Can I come with you? Please..!" Shraddha asked in the cutest way possible. "It's only for a week and my parents are very orthodox, I can't take a girl home all of a sudden. I need to tell them about you first," I replied, as I packed my luggage for a visit my hometown, starting next day. "Fine!" she rolled her eyes. "I'll miss you!", I whispered hugging her. "I'll miss you more!" she replied, wrapping her hands around me.
