You just move to LA with your bestfriend and decide to start a youtube channel to document this next chapter of your life. Little do you know how things are going to escalate when you meet another vlogger your age, here comes an unexpected adventure...
8:30pm We got in my car and drove to Saddle Ranch. It was only like 15 minutes away from the apartment but I was quick to grab the Aux cord. If we were really going to have a good time I was gonna get us pumped up with OneDirection. The playlist started with 18 and escalated to What Makes You Beautiful. By the time it ended we were pulling in.
"Okay I know it was my idea but it looks busy and my social anxiety is kicking in," I nervously laugh. "Hey you made me come and Im actually excited, you aren't backing out now." She grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the car, "Let's have fun!" I wasn't really worried anymore. She has a way of calming me down. Thank god.
We both got Shirley Temples because none of us are big drinkers and we drove. I know how to have a good time, drunk or not. There was this big group who got there a little after us and they were really loud but quite funny. We continued our night having a good time.
"I'm gonna go find the bathrooms, who knows how long the lines are." I shout over the music. "Okay take your phone Incase you get kidnapped!" Emma laughs. I get to the line which isn't too long, but long enough where I'm gonna be bored out of my mind waiting. I pull out my phone to check the time - 9:30. A tall redhead girl comes in line behind me. "Thank god it's short tonight, I really have to pee," she laughs. "This is short? It's gonna be like 15 minutes," I respond. "Have you been here before? It's usually 30-45 minutes!" "Actually no I haven't been here before, my best friend and I just moved from Massachusetts." "Small world, I'm from Mass too. I'm Erin by the way." "Y/n" I shake her hand. "You know, all my friends are over there, you should come hang out with us!" "Wait you're the loud ones?" "That would be us" she smiles. "Well I'm here with my friend so maybe later?" "Yeah, here let me give you my number" she hands me her phone and I give her mine. "Thanks, it's nice to know one person here." I thank her. The line moves up and I'm next. "Guess it's my turn, nice to meet you Erin!" "You too, text me whenever!"
I get back to Emma and tell her all about Erin. "She sounds nice!" "She was, it's nice to have someone who knows their way around here. She said she'll be with her friends over there." "Let's get a refill and head over there?" She suggests. "Sounds good." We head to the bar and I see some really drunk guy running away from his friends. "Zane you're wasted come on!" His friend calls. The other one has a camera and just laughs at him. "No, I don't wanna leave yet!" The drunk guy who I'm assuming is Zane yells back. I turn to Emma to laugh when I feel a drink splash right on my shirt.
"ZANE!" His friend yells and chases after him. The other one with the camera looks at me, "oh my god I'm so sorry, it's my fault. I needed content so I got him drunk." He said to me. He has pretty brown eyes and mess brown hair with a black hat on top of it. "It's really fine," I laugh. Wait content? "What do you need content for?" I ask him. "I'm David, I'm a YouTuber actually." "Oh nice to meet you, I'm y/n, and this is my friend Emma, we actually just started YouTube too" "Hey" he was interrupted by three girls, "David Heath just texted, he found Zane and is bringing him home in his car- oh my god, y/n!" It was Erin. I wave at her with a smile. "Wait how do you know y/n?" David asks. "We just met in the line for the bathroom actually," "oh y/n, this is Carly and Natalie, and I'm assuming you already know David." "Yep, we just met after Zane spilled his drink on her while running from Heath." He answers for me. "Well, hi and this is Emma," everyone waves at each other. "We were planning on staying for a while longer, wanna hang with us?" Carly asks. "Sounds fun!" Emma says and I nod. "Not in that shirt. Come on, I've got a hoodie in my car." David offered. "Really it's fine, and we just met what if you're going to kidnap me?" "You'll just have to find out, come on" he says with a big smile. Damn he has a cute smile. "Okay, but I'm bringing my Phone just Incase" I joke.
David grabs my hand and drags me away from the group. "Wait until you see my car." He says like a proud little boy. We approach a while Tesla and I laugh at him. "This is not your car." "Then why do I have the key?" He unlocks the car. "You're rich? You really are a YouTuber" I say once again laughing at him. "You've never heard of David Dobrik?" "That's you?" "Yup" he says proudly. "I've never watched your videos but I've heard your name before" he tosses me a hoodie.

I toss it on. "Thanks, you didn't have to lend me your hoodie" "I wanted to." He smiled "besides, do you really wanna spend the rest of the night in a shirt soaked in tequila" "I guess not." We start to walk back to the building when he asks for my number. "Maybe I can show you around sometime, if you want. And you can meet the rest of our friends." "Sounds fun" "you should start watching the vlogs, it'll make it easier when you meet the rest of my friends." "Maybe I will, but you have to watch our vlogs in return" I wink at him. we get back to the group and spend another hour or so talking to our new friends. We got home around midnight and had no trouble falling asleep. Our night had an unexpected turn of events and I'm glad.
