We Literally Just Met

I wake up around 10:30 to the smell of chocolate chip pancakes. Did I mention I have the best friend in the whole world?? Because I do. She's always up before me, thank god because I'm not a morning person whatsoever. When I'm up first I make breakfast a lot, but that's not often.
"Morning sleepy,"
"Hey, I got up early considering it's Saturday and we were out kinda late."
"Sure," she laughs at me.
I just sneer back at her and grab a plate with some pancakes.  I take my phone from my sweatshirt pocket and realize that it's not even my sweatshirt. I must have forgot that I was wearing David's hoodie because it was so comfortable and never took it off. I open my phone to see a new text:

I'm so excited I made a friend and quite proud of myself actually

I'm so excited I made a friend and quite proud of myself actually. I thought we'd be loners for at least a year.
"Hey, I'm gonna go to David's tomorrow. Wanna come?" I ask.
"I'm planning on taking the car and going to the grocery store tomorrow actually, I figured I'd do some light shopping since I have to run to the Ulta next door anyway." (We share a car.)
"Oh okay,"
"Is this a date?" The words hit me as confusion runs through my body.
"What?" I blush. I never said I liked him out loud, I mean I just met him last night but he was really funny, nice and now that I'm thinking of it, kinda cute.
"Well I mean, you guys were kinda flirting. You do like him, right?"
"I mean yeah, I didn't really think about it but yeah. We just met last night and I doubt he likes me back though. Would you ask someone out after knowing them one day?"
"Well no, but get to know him. Maybe next week you'll be going on a date..." she winks at me jokingly and I roll my eyes at her and finish my pancakes.

I told David I was going to watch his videos and it's a rainy day, so I'm going to watch some. I search David Dobrik and all or his videos are 4 minutes and 20 or 21 seconds except for one titled "we broke up". I click on it to see David and a beautiful small girl with brown curly hair. It was really sad, they looked like they really loved each other. They've been broken up for almost 2 years now, the video was from June 2018. Next I watched a video called, "I MARRIED MY BEST FRIENDS MOM!! (PROPOSAL)" I clicked and just continued watching so many videos going back all the way to last year. They were actually really good and everyone looked so cool and funny. I was getting really excited for tomorrow.

The next day...
I woke up at 9 and made Emma and I a cheese omelette and a smoothie. We went on a walk around our neighborhood because it was almost 75 degrees out and we both needed to get out after the rain yesterday. We got back in time so I could shower quickly and get ready. I blow dried and straightened my hair for a simple look. I did some quick makeup and threw in this outfit:

Around quarter to 2 I was done and David texted me he was on his way.
"I'm gonna head out now, unless you want me to wait until he gets here,"
"I'm fine, thanks" I say with a appreciative smile.
"Have fun, love you! Text me when you're coming home or if you need a ride."
"I will, love you too!" The door closes once I'm done.

About 5 minutes after 2 I hear a knock on the door.
"Just a minute!" I grab my camera and purse and run to the door.
"Hey!" he says before going in on a hug.
"Hi!" I reply over his shoulder.
"Ok so I figured I can give you a little tour of the area and we can go to chipotle for dinner. Then we can go to my house and you can meet some of my friends?" He suggests.
"Sounds perfect!"
