You just move to LA with your bestfriend and decide to start a youtube channel to document this next chapter of your life. Little do you know how things are going to escalate when you meet another vlogger your age, here comes an unexpected adventure...
I wake to my shoulder being tapped lightly and turn to my cheerful best friend. "Goooood Morning sleepy head. Or should I say good afternoon." She jokes. "What time is it and why are you so cheerful?" I question. "12:13 and have you forgotten what happened yesterday and what is happening tonight?" I suddenly remember the previous night and my date tonight. "Ohhh, yeah," I say with a blushing grin splashed across my face. "So I made you a nice breakfast - well, lunch. I figured we could go for a run and figure out what I get to do on my favorite canvas tonight for your first date with David." We both did a little girl squeal because boy talk makes us feel 10 again. (😂)
4:15 pm It's 2 hours and 45 minutes until David's supposed to pick me up. Meaning it's wayyyy to early to start getting ready except I'm a self conscious perfectionist so it's probably just enough time. I turn on my mostly Harry Styles playlist and head to the closet, Emma following behind me. After nearly 15 minutes we decided on an outfit. Lots of laughs and lip syncing later we had finished everything by 6:30. Emma was very proud of my final look considering she did my hair and 90% of my makeup.

"Damn I deserve a round of applause," Emma compliments her work. "I agree, you've never disappointed." We both laugh and then I get nervous. I mean David is my best friend and I really like him but what if things don't work out. I think she sees the worry in my face as my thoughts twirl in my head. It's as if she can read my mind. "It's gonna work out you know," she blurts. " I mean I heard Todd and Jason the other day. They said David has been trying to work up the balls to ask you out for like a month. And I know you, you're worried that you're gonna ruin your friendship but just see how it goes. It's your first date y/n, don't overthink it." I take a deep breath feeling much better and smiled. "You're right."
After a few minutes the doorbell rings. "You get your purse, I'll answer the door. Your dad may be across the country but I can fill in," she smirks.
Sorry it's been a long time, I've had little time to write the past week, with school finishing and every chance I had to write I simply didn't know what to write about. Anyway hope you like this chapter :) it's gonna get juicy soon. ~Amelia
