Beach Party

Update: It's been about a month since you and Emma started hanging out with the vlog squad. You've become pretty close with everyone particularly David. (Besides David, you're closest to Natalie, Scotty, Heath, Mariah, and Jason) You're like best friends (besides Emma duh) and your feelings for him have grown. You've met everyone else in the vlog squad too, like Jeff, the Antonyans, etc...

I pull into David's driveway and see that there are less cars on the street than I though. Dave said we were all hanging out today but maybe we're early. Emma and I go up to the front door and knock waiting for someone to let us in. David comes up to the door almost immediately after I knock.
"Hiiiii" he says tauntingly as I walk in and give him a hug.
"Oh no, what's going on,"I say as Emma takes out our camera to record.
"I have a surprise for you but you have to get in the car and blindfold yourself."
"Davidddd, last week I almost broke the handle on the car AND your nose when you 'surprised' me with a python." He knows I absolutely hate reptiles.
"This one isn't a reptile I promise. Come on."

Natalie, Taylor, Emma, and Jason pile up in the backseats and I'm shotgun with David's shirt over my face. I hear him talk to the camera,
"What's up guys, I have another surprise for Y/n. She cant know where we are going either so she has to have the blindfold on the whole car ride."
"David I can hardly fucking breathe in this thing!" Everyone just laughs at me. We all chat until the car comes to a stop. I hear David telling Natalie to film and he takes my hand and guides me to where ever we are going. I'm getting nervous now because I'm just realizing I'm the only one blindfolded so it's just a surprise for me. As we keep going I feel my feet squish.
"Daveee, are we," I was gonna say at the beach but he interrupted me.
"Shhhh" he probably just wanted me to wait and see. But if we are at the beach I will be so happy, it's my favorite place. He stops me and turns me around and takes off my blindfold. I'm standing in front of him in the beach and all of our friends are a little ways down except Nat and Emma who are recording.
"Y/n, I've known for for only like a month but it feels like so long and you've become one of my closest friends. And I know that because we are such close friends this might be weird but," he grabs my hand and turns me around to a sign that says 'will you go on a date with me?' Is this cheesy? Yes. Is it exactly the type of thing that melts my heart? Also yes. At this point I'm getting emotional because I started getting feelings for him since the first day I got to know him.
"Wait really?" My smile is so big and I can't hold back my blush any longer.
"I mean duh!" I laugh and he pulls me into the warmest embrace. He kisses my head and whispers,
"I'm so happy,"
"Okay but let's get to the party now," he finishes.
"Party?"I'm question.
"Beach party!" Emma and Natalie answer for him. They're done filming and grab me.
"I'm just saying you know I can't be at the beach without going into the ocean," I giggle.
"That's why I brought you a bathing suit!" Emma says.
"Wait so you knew?" I ask walking to the car to get my swimsuit.
"Yup, he needed to run his idea past someone."

It's just about sunset when we get back to the beach from changing in the bathrooms across the street. I run into the ocean with all the girls following me. We swam and hung out together for a while until it was completely dark except for the fire the boys had started.  Soon enough everyone had gotten out because they were cold, except for me. I see a dark shadow coming toward me but I couldn't tell who it was because of how dark it was. I go with the waves until I find myself on the wet sand, cold with David standing in front of me.
"Cold?" He says handing me my towel.
"Yeah, thanks."
"Wanna come sit at the fire with me?" I nod and he puts his arm around me as we walk away from the crashing night waves.

The rest of the night we party, watch Heath and Zane get blackout drunk (content) until I fell asleep in David's lap.
"Wakey wakey." I hear a whisper followed by a bright smile when I open my eyes in the Tesla.
"Emma got a ride home a while ago because she was tired but I didn't want to disturb you so I told her I'd bring you home since your car is at my house," he explained.
I pull out my phone from my purse that says the time, 3:37am.
"Wow it's late. Wanna walk me in?" I ask with a smirk. He goes to my side of the car as I get out and grabs my hand. He walks me to my door and I kiss him on the cheek and thank him for the ride.
"See you tomorrow. Pick you up at 7?" He says as he bear hugs me.

Sorry I feel like this is cheesy. Things are gonna come together soon. I wanna add a twist but also there's something else I wanna add so we'll just see where things go. Please vote :))
