KARRAHS POV

Today we are having an birthday party for me because I turn 20 . When all the people get there I just go sit down at the pool with my legs in the water drinking code red Mountain Dew when Sam comes out "hey are you still ok your out here all alone" Sam says "yeah I just like how quiet it is" I say looking at the sky and then back at Sam "yeah I guess it is kinda peiceful" Sam says putting his feet in the pool and laying down looking at the stars . I lay down and we just have a really deep conversation . "Where are you from" Sam says "Tennessee , you?" I say "I'm from Kansas" Sam says "why did your mom kick you out in the first place" Sam says nervously "because she was going to marry one of the men who would beat me if I walked in on them hooking up and we had a huge fight about why she shouldn't because he would slap me give me bruises and one time he broke my nose and there was one time before that when he gave me a really bad concosion and I had to be put in a medically induced coma because of him" I say "is that why you started to cut" Sam asks "yeah , but I start cutting when I was 6 or 7 because I didn't want to be alive" I say "you know colby I think he really likes you , when your out all he can talk about is you he always says and I quote "she has the most beautiful hazel eyes and brown hair" he can't seem to get over you" Sam says "good thing we're dating" I say laughing "well I'm gonna go inside" I say getting up I go inside and since the door is open technically anyone can come in. I feel and hand grab my wrist "ow Colby" I say thinking it was colby but I turn around to see Kevin "hey karrah hows your birthday going" he says giving me a murderous stare and squeezing my wrist more "STOP" I say but he doesn't stop "what are you gonna have a panic attack" he says pushing me against the wall. I start breathing heavy and crying when I hear a unknown voice say "what are you doing get off" as they push Kevin off of me and start beating him up I see that it's Scotty and he gets off of Kevin and Kevin runs out the door. I'm scrunched up in a corner with my head tucked into my knees and I feel colby come up and hug me "he knows where we live Colby" I say hyperventilating "if he comes up again I will beat his ass" Colby says with his hand on my face. Scotty comes up to me "thank you so much" I say hugging Scotty "no problem karrah" he says "are you ok he was grabbing your wrist pretty hard" he says with a concerned look on his face "yeah I think so" I say as I look down at my bruised wrist. Scotty squeezes my wrist to make sure that it's ok. He feels a crunch in my wrist and it really hurts but I don't wanna go to the hospital but colby makes me. It been and hour and we get called back to the hospital room "we just need to put a cast on it and you'll be fine" the nurse says.

COLBYS POV

While we're gonna n the process of getting the cast I text Devyn
Colby: hey meet me at 5 guys burgers
Devyn: ok I'll meet you and I'm bringing a marker cause I wanna be the first one to sign my guuuurls cast

KARRAHS POV

We pull into five guys and Devyn runs over to me and hugs me then she signs my cast "from your favorite biotch" I look up and smile at her . We eat and then we go home and Devyn goes into Corey's room and I go to bed but right before I get to Colbys room Sam bursts out of his and signs my cast "from dear ol' Sammy boiii" I look up at him trying not to laugh "I hope you k ow I'm gonna call you Sammy boii for the rest of my life "eh, it's worth it" he says. I go to bed and change sams name I my phone to "sammy boiii" and screen shot it and send him the picture

Sam: oh wow noice bruva
Karrah: I told you 😂

COLBYS POV

I hear karrah laughing in the bedroom when I walk in to her showing me what she made Sam in her phone "where did you come up with that" I say laughing "he put that on my cast" she says "you know for being through the worst stuff you seem awful happy" I say staring at her "you know why I'm happy?, it's because at that abandoned building when I heard that voice telling Kevin to get off of me I knew that I was going to live and that I won that battle" she says "you sure did, you just needed a little backup" I say "it's like when you feel surrounded that backup is having someone to talk to and you will always have one of us to talk with" I say staring at her "yeah I get what ur saying" she says kissing me.

KARRAHS POV

After we had that deep talk we went to bed and I woke up before Colby so I went and got in my car and went to get the roommates breakfast since I know what everybody likes. When I get home everybody is up and I give them their food and we all eat while watching "the office"
"Hey karrah" I hear Aaron say "hey what's up" I say to Aaron "I never got to hear your life story" he says "I'm not sure you want to" I say "well I'm gonna need to know who you are" he says "ok fine I grew up in Tennessee with my mom she was so nice until she found out that my dad has been cheating on her , when they got a divorce she was miserable, she would bring random men home and hook up with them she would tell me to go to my room but since the bathroom was in the living room I would go In There sometimes and the man would beat me or rape me and I had no choice but to let them when I got older and she still did it I would try and break free but hey would end up beating me more that's when I started cutting one time she was watching me and she said "maybe if you cut deep enough you'll cut a vein and die you peice of shit" that hurt me so I started exploring to relieve my stress but she didn't like that so then she would start to beat me but I would keep exploring one time I stayed out all night because she had one of the men over that's when I found Kevin , he was doing the same thing because he had been through the same stuff as me that's how we became friends so most of the time me and him would stay at random abandoned places all night but one night his dad found him and started to beat him so I kicked his dad in the face ... well turns out that his dad was tre person my mom had been hooking up with when he looked up that's how I knew it was him so he started beating me then the next day I went back home and my mom said she was engaged with one of the men and we had a huge fight cause I didn't want her to marry one and make them my new dad that's the day she kicked me out and I went to the abandoned place and Kevin hurt me" I said and it took long enough to where at this time all of the roommates were listening to me
