The Town of Derry

First Day!

My brother Ben and I walked up the pathway to the front door of the school, I looked at him and gave him a sigh, then a smile to say 'we got this'

At our old school Ben and I always hungout together, we were never separated, Us being twins and all. This is the first year Ben and I only have lunch together.

"Locker 266" the lady said as we gave her our registration forms, "and locker 267 for you miss" she said to me handing Ben and I our books for the year.

"Well Laura, good luck in English" Ben said to me as he placed his book bag into his locker,
"Good luck in Math" I smiled and playing with a strand of my Strawberry Blonde hair.

Ben and I look nothing alike; I am much shorter than him, and I don't have a chubby body like him, I'm built quite nice.. the girls in my old school told me I should of been apart of the cheer team, maybe I'll try out here?
Anyways, people always assume we're just friends that's how un alike we are.

"Hi, uh do you know where Mrs, Galways English class is?" I asked a boy who was standing in the hallway reading a bird book,

"Yeah, actually that's my class as well, I can show you the way" he said closing the book folding a corner to keep his spot. I clenched my book and smiled up at him, then proceeded to follow him to the class.

"You must be new in town, ive never seen you around" he said breaking the silence as we walked down the last hall in the building, "oh yeah, my brother and I just moved here!"

"Well welcome to Derry, Stanley by the way" he said, "I'm Laura" I said as we walked in the door, he was approached by a boy with glasses, and a taller blonde boy.

"Laura this is Bill and Richie, guys this is Laura she's new in town" Stan introduced us and gesturing for me to follow him to the back row.
"N-nice to meat y-you l-l-Laura" Billy stuttered out, "nice to meet you too" I smiled at him as I set my books down and put my fanny pack on the bottom of my chair where the basket is.

Bens pov:

As I walked to my math class i looked around for an open seat, I walked to the middle of the room next to a boy with a cast on, I sat down and put my books onto the desk.

I hope Laura's making friends at least, she deserves cooler friends than hanging out with her boring twin..

I had nothing else to do and it was the only conversation happening so I opened my book and started reading while I waited for the bell to start class.

**ring ring**

Gee class time, I closed my book and looked up at the teacher as she took attendance.

~ Time Skip To Lunch~

Laura's pov:

"Laura come sit with us" I heard a voice say, I turned around to see Stanley holding his tray standing at a table with some few extra boys.

I sat down and smiled around the table, "thanks" I said as I pulled out my medication from my fanny pack, "oh golly gee Stan the Man you've added another germaphobe to the club" Richie said, jokingly.

I looked up at him and chuckled, "I'm not a complete germaphobe" I said, "I'm more of a; I have to take these pills or I will have really bad anxiety attacks, typa girl.. the fanny packs for my allergy medications, extra safety stuff.. oh and my occasional need for my inhaler" I said as I zipped it back up and opening my chocolate milk.
I looked around the room and locked eyes with Ben,

"mind if my brother joins us?" I said standing up waving at Ben, "n-not at all, c-call him over" Bill said as he started to eat his lunch.

"Hey Laura" Ben said as he sat beside me, I smiled at him "oh I forgot to introduce the other guy, that's Eddie" Stan said gesturing to Eddie who was beside me. "So, Eddie, Stanley, Richie, and Billy" I introduced Ben to our hopefully new friend group.

"How can such a hottie be related to Ben?" Richie joked, I looked at Ben and smiled "well we're actually twins" Ben said opening up his sandwich bag. The group looked surprised, and I chuckled "12:01 September 25th," I said joking that I was the older one, I smiled over to Richie at his 'hottie' comment.

"Well at least I'm not the shortest anymore" Eddie said putting his non broken arm on my shoulder "haha very funny, I'm still growing!" I laughed.
"Well Laura, Ben. Welcome to the Losers Club" Richie said as he gulped down his lunch.

"Meet up after school?" Stan asked everyone, we all agreed.

As I was walking to class I get an arm go around my shoulders "hey there sweet thing" it was Richie, "do you have history?" I asked not bothered by the fact I usually don't let people touch me, but hey.. a new start right? Means a new me!

"Yep, sit with me? I'm tired of sitting beside the dude who sweats a lot" he said as we walked into the class room, and I did.

That last class of the day feels like forever, the final 20 minutes the teacher let us do what we please, and I? I took a nap. With my head on Rich's arm and a book covering my head to make it look like we were reading, we both took a nap.
Then we were woken up by a ruler slamming on the desk.

"Mrs. Hanscom and Mr. Tozier! Class ended 5 minutes ago! You are dismissed!" The teacher yelled at us disappointedly.

Richie and I looked at each other, grabbed our books and ran out of the class room.
"God she scared the shit out of me!" Richie said laughing "I think I might of peed!" I added out of breath from running down the hall.

"Well atleast I'm rested up for our hangout, I can spew jokes about eddie spaghettis mom!" Richie said leaning against the closed locker while I grabbed my bag.

"aw poor Eddie, do you do that everytime?" I said as I passed him my fanny pack to hang onto for a moment.
"Basically" he shrugged, I finished up in my locker and we headed outside.

Bens pov:

*ring ring*

Finally class is over! I grabbed my books, headed to my locker, and got ready to leave the school. I put my headphones on and put on my favourite band; new kids on the block.

I noticed Laura wasn't at her locker yet so I wandered outside to find the others.

"Oh sorry!" I yelled as I bumped into someone, I looked up to see a red headed girl, "it's fine, you're the new kid right?" She said as she and I picked up her books she dropped. "Uh yeah, Ben" I said as I turned my music back on,

"What are you listening to?" She said as she grabbed the right side of my headphone and put it on. She looked at me and gave a huge smile, "new kids on the block?" She said and grinned, "see you around new kid" she said as she walked away.

God she was beautiful! I saw the guys up at a bench so I made my way over.

"Where's Laura" I asked, looking around noticing her and Richie aren't out yet.
"Not sure, we're waiting another 5 minutes though" Eddie said as he fiddled with his inhaler.

All of a sudden we heard laughing and giggling coming from the front door.

Laura's pov:

"That was priceless rich, I can't believe we did that" I said as we got to the bench's where the others were. "Where were you two?" Stanley asked as he put his bird book away,

"oh my god guys, we fell asleep in class" Richie said "and this Mrs. Hemisphere smacked the ruler on the table and scared the living shit outta rich and I" I added on as Richie was now head locking Eddie.

We then headed to our next stop, the dam?
