Coming Out?

Richies POV:

I decided to stay with Eddie at his house when Laura decided to spontaneously go check up on her brother, Bill and Beverly.

"I hope they're ok" Eddie said as we sat on the couch listening to the radio. "They're strong, they will be fine" I said passing Eddie over his fanny pack that he motioned he wanted.

As he dug through it I watched him, everything he pulled out till he found what he was looking for.

"Do you think Bev and Bill like each other" Eddie asked me, I was confused, but I answered just to talk to him "I think Bev likes Bill, but Ben likes Bev" I said as he passed me back his fanny pack to put onto the table.

"I think laura and Stan like each other too" Eddie added, "I mean, Laura's my closest friend, she likes Stanley, but I'm not sure if he likes her back" I took a drink of my juice then looked back over to Eddie. "That would suck" Eddie mumbled, "what would?" I asked,
"Stanley not liking her back, I know what it's like to like someone and not like them back" Eddie quickly said as he stood up and turned the radio down as it was the commercial break.

"Oh yeah.. same" I said, looking At him.

His mom went off to bed, but We were waiting for them to come back.

"Can I ask something?" Eddie spoke quietly so his mom wouldn't hear, I shook my head yes in response for him to ask away. "You don't have to answer, but at the hospital when you said IT knew your secret; and Laura said she hadn't told anyone... how big is the secret?" Eddie asked, quickly again, the kid speaks fast when he's nervous.

"Its, I mean, I guess it's big. I just don't think about it a lot." I replied, I looked at Eddie give me a slight smile, god he was adorable.

"I'm here if you don't wanna talk to laura about anything, considering she is a girl.. you know, about manly stuff" Eddie chuckles, I smiled at him in thanks.

"𝑯𝒊𝒂 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒍" 𝒆𝒅𝒅𝒊𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊 𝒋𝒐𝒍𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒏, 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑰𝑻 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒌 "𝒀𝑶𝑼𝑳𝑳 𝑭𝑳𝑶𝑨𝑻 𝑮𝑨𝒀 𝑩𝑶𝒀" 𝑰𝑻 𝒚𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒗𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆, 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈

I looked at Eddie who was scrounging for his inhaler, once he found it he took huge puffs before jumping back into the couch, he hasn't said anything. I moved to the couch to comfort him because he was still hyperventilating.

Laura's pov:

I pushed Eddies front door open to see him hyperventilating on the couch. "IT" Richie said, "ya he saw us too" Stanley said getting a glass of water, "it knows" Eddie said to Stan, i looked at Richie, "what happened?" I asked wiping the sweat from running here off of my face.

"IT, came out of the sink, and said 'you'll float gay boy" Richie said avoiding eye contact with everyone except me.

"So you told Richie?" Stanley questioned as he stood behind me, Eddie shook his head vigorously no.

"Tell me what?" Richie asked as Eddie looked at Stanley. "IT knows that" he stopped, "eddies gay" Stanley said, and apparently my jaw literally dropped because stan laughed at me as he placed his hand on my chin to close it.

"Well" I said looking at Richie and smiling, then hugging Eddie so he knows it doesn't make any difference. "Well" Richie mocked me,
"me too eddie spaghetti" Richie said, I was a little bit shocked, but I guess everyone's confessing due to the fact we could die from this damn clown.

"Laura since were all confessing" Bev said looking at me and then to Stanley, I chuckled and ignored her. "We have to figure out what we're gonna do" mike said, we all sat down around Eddies kitchen table.

"I vote we move" Richie said, trying to make a joke. "I v-v-vote we k-kill the t-thing" Bill said. We sat around looking back and forth to one another.

We didn't speak of IT for the rest of the night.
