Step Brother ?

Richies pov:

During that whole fight? I stood there, grasping Eddies hand.. I the fact he stood up to his mom about who he is, who we are, it made me happy.

The walk to the bikes was silent, besides Eddies slight sniffs from anger crying, and Laura's mumbles to Stanley.

We sat on the curb as the others got on their bikes "I was about to throw hands" Stanley said, "I know" Eddie spoke quietly as he looked at the ground. I rubbed his back as he played with the rips in my jeans.

"Do you think I can stay with someone for a few days, or whenever" Eddie looked up, his eyes were puffy and red, he put on a smile for us, but we all knew what was going through my babies mind. 

"You can go back and forth from everyone's house" I said, as we all smiled, "my moms on a business trip, so Laura's coming over for the few days she's gone, you can come over too, I mean you all can really" Stanley smiled as he got off his bike and hugged Eddie.

The hug turned into a group hug, I felt Eddies shoulders relax.

"Bev, laur, you guys aren't dirty, or sluts, or anything anyone says.. those rumours are shit, they're bullshit, and my moms just a brat because she can't her her way" Eddie smiled, I grabbed his hand and pulled him off of the ground.

"I'm walking" Laura said, I stopped peddling, making everyone stop. "I'll walk with her, meet at the house in a bit okay?" Stanley said, giving his bike to Bill so he didn't need to share with Mike.

"Be safe guys, like super safe, watch your surroundings, take this" mike handed them a small switch knife, Stanley looked at it wide eyed, and shoved it into his back pocket.

Laura's pov:

I know what Eddies mom said wasn't true, but it felt like it.. the things I was told in school, the shit Henry and his friends called me, crap my own mom said about me, it's almost like it's all true and that my friends, are keeping it from me.

"I'm walking" I said as I stood there while the others were on their bikes about to head off, everyone stopped in there spot and looked at me. "I'll walk with her, meet at the house in a bit" Stanley said, he passed his bike off to mike, and mike past him a switch knife as he told us to be safe.

I watched as they biked off to my house, I sat on the road and looked at Stanley, he fake frowned at me to mock my pout.

"What's going through your mind?" He asked sitting beside me, it was late, so there won't be any cars out. "The stuff Ed's mom said, and the note from Bowers earlier this year... the fight with my mom.." I told him, he looked surprised I told him this, because usually I keep it in and tell him nothings wrong and not to worry.

"You know non of it's true, don't let it bother you.. and I'm not just saying that to make you happy, I one hundred percent mean it" he smiled at me slapping my hands as he talked. I shrugged.

"I know that your missing your dad, so I thought maybe tomorrow we could take the bus into the town he's buried, with Ben" Stanley, god Stanley, how does he always know what the fuck I'm feeling?

He's literally perfect, "that would be nice" I smiled as he stood up, reaching his arms out. I stood up slowly and embraced the big hug.

~ 2 days later ~

Today was Ben and I's birthday. And the day we were meeting our moms new boyfriend, As I came back from my birthday picnic with Stanley I noticed the mans car in my driveway. I walked inside noticing Richies bike leaned against my drive way.

I walked into the house and saw Ben and rich on the couch smiling as I walked in. "Happy birthday sis" Ben said to me as he stood up and hugged me. "Happy birthday Ben" I smiled and hugged him back. I sat on the couch watching Rich grin at me.

"What's your problem?" I asked he chuckled, "I can't make jokes about your mom anymore, so I'm trying to come up with one about you, but that also would be weird" Richie said, I shrugged in confusion, "anyways yeah, happy birthday sis" Richie said to me.

Then it clicked in, Richies bike, him not being able to make jokes about my mom, or about me? "Holy shit?" I said, I stood up and looked into the kitchen at my mom and Richies dad "language!" My mom yelled as she walked in, interlocked fingers with Richies dad.

"Oh my gosh" I sat down beside Richie and Ben. "Damn" Richie nudged me as he watched me fiddle with the couch pillow.

"This is gonna be fun" I grinned whispering to Ben and Rich.

Having Richard as a possible new brother, fucking amazing, Richies been my best friend since the first day we moved here.

"Looks like breakfast was good" Ben said as Stanley walked in with my lipstick stain still on his cheek. "What are you doing kissing my sister?" Richie joked, Stanley's jaw dropped.

We all joined together laughing, not sure why.

Throughout the day, people from town have wished Ben and I a Happy Birthday, a long with family members and friends from out of town calling us.

The party and fireworks our friends set up for us, was amazing.

This really has been the best birthday ever, I felt my dad with us all day, watching over us and making sure we were safe.
