Richie and I headed back to my house after we dried up. The others were there waiting for us, I don't know why, but I had a bad feeling.
"Where Stanley and Mike?" Richie asked, I sat down on my front porch beside Bev. "Oh they're out somewhere, probably bird watching.

Just then out case Stanley and Mike from the street in front of mine, "guys quick, he got cut by Henry" mike said as he peddled faster with Stan behind him. "I told you I know when things aren't right" I said pushing Richie and Ben out of my way and opening my front door.

"Where was he cut?" Beverly said as she followed behind them, "back of the neck, and they smashed his head into the wall of the library" mike explained, "I'm fine guys" Stan said as I sat beside him holding a cold wet cloth to the back of his head. "You're obviously not!" Eddie said panicky, Beverly and Eddie cleaned Stanley up.

"Oh my! What happened" my mom said walking down the stairs "fucking bowers" I said to my mom standing up and throwing my hands to my side "let me have a look dear" my mom said to Stanley as Ben got her bag, she used to be a nurse; so we let her take over. "Watch your language Laura also" she said glaring up at me, "Benny hun, grab mommy a glass of water" she said, making the guys chuckle at the word 'mommy'

"Okay there, you should be okay, take some pain killers and please take it easy, and stay away from those men" Ben and I's mother said to Stanley.

"I'm not leaving you again" I said plopping beside him on the couch, "were sticking together" I added, everyone sat around the coffee table as my mom brought in snacks.
"Is this?" My mom said before I elbowed her to be quiet.
I'm very close to my mom, just like Bev and I, we talk about anything and everything.

"W-w-what happened anyway?" Billy asked.
I looked at Mike, honestly, I'm a little pissed off at him.. mikes strong, he so could of helped Stan. "We were outside the library, I was showing mike birds, and then they came up to us and pulled us to the side of the building saying it was payback for what the.." he stopped and looked at Bev and I, "he said it was payback for what the sluts did to him and his buddies" mike said and stood up,

"I'm over his group, my grandma was right, I'm an outcast, and it should stay that way" mike said leaving the door, Eddie and Rich followed him "Mike we have to stick together!" Eddie yelled to him as mike left the driveway.
"Mike!" Richie yelled then swung my door open.

"This is what he wants. He wants us to turn on each other" Bev said as she hugged Richie and Eddie. "We have to stay together" Ben said, "follow me" he added, we followed up to his room, as we walked in, it was all the missing kids & a bunch of articles and news papers laid out on his Walls and around his room.
"Holy shit" Richie said, I closed the door behind me, Bev looked at the door and nudged me, making me look at the 'new kids on the block' poster hanging on his door.
We turned to Ben and giggled then open the door back up.

"What is all of this" Eddie said looking at a bin, then around the room,
"Well I've gathered articles, posts, newspapers, etc. And turns out.. this thing happens every 27 years? Strange things start happening, things like what we're experiencing" Ben explained.
After an hour or so of him explaining what is going on, we all decided to stick together officially.. we'll besides mike who has left us.

~ later that night ~

We all gathered In the living room to watch a movie, and that's the room we decided to sleep in, so we all could be together.

I sat beside Eddie and Billy on the couch, with Richie in-front of me on the floor, Ben and Bev on the other couch, and Stanley on the Sofa chair.

We turned on a movie, but didn't really watch it, we had our own conversations. I watched Richie, he payed attention to Eddie most of the night, I reached down and rubbed Richies hair, while Billy told us about a memory he had with Georgie.

"So Bev, the poem you got" Eddie said, "who do you think it's from?" Ben asked, knowing he's the one who gave her it. "I'm not sure, but I love it, I keep it in my room in a place where I'll always see it" she smiled looking over at me to see if I know. I shrugged, "what about you Laura? Do you have a secret admirer" Eddie asked, "Eds I keep my life private" I glanced at where Stan was sitting, and back over to Eddie, who was still beside me. "She has a crush on someone, I know it" Richie said turning around sitting on his knees in-front of me.
Everyone looked at me "of course, every human has a crush, but like I said P R I V A T E" I said, spelling out 'private'

"Girl or boy?" Bev asked trying to get more information out of me, "god I can't stand girls" I chuckled, "not after my last girlfriend" I signed and looked at Ben, as he rolled his eyes at the thought of the girl "so boy?" Stan said, I shook my head yes and crawled over Eddie to sit on the corner piece of the couch.

"I'll pay for your lunch for three months next school year if you give us detail on him" Richie said, very convincing, that would save me money..

"Agreed" I sat up in criss cross position, and held eddies cast arm in my lap because of the way we were sitting. "Well, he's tall" I said, to start it all off. "E-everyones taller t-than y-y-you" Billy said, "well he's like the height of Stan the Man" I smiled at Bev. "Eye colour?" Eddie asked. "Blue" I said lying, "first letter of the last name" Ben asked, starting to notice my lying habits come out. "K" I said lying again "and no not you kaspbrak" I said patting him, and smiling.

I got bored and walked up to look at some more articles that were in Bens room.
I sat on his bed and dig through a bin of old news papers from the past year.
"G-g-Georgie" Billy said as I help up a paper to read, that had Georgies face on the cover.
"Oh" I frowned at the cover, as he stood in the door way, "not enjoying the movie" I questioned and patted the bed for him to sit next to me, I picked up an new paper as billy took the one about Georgie out of my hands to look at. "I don't e-enjoy h-horror" he said flipping the page to reveal a picture of his family, "I'm the same way, don't worry about it" I said trying to distract him from making himself upset, he always talked to Bev and and Ben about his feelings, so I was taking the opportunity to be a good friend, so get closer to him.

"Look at this, Ben circled the map of Derry and it all connects to the house on Neilbolt st...." I said passing him the map, "do y-you think G-g-g-georgies dead..." he said looking at the map, I put my hand on his knee "I think he's missing" I said, I rubbed his knee friendly, he slightly smiled.

"Uh, Laura.. can I talk you you" Richie came in and stood at the door way, billy went back downstairs with the map to show the others, I walked into my room followed by Richie.

"Is your door soundproof?" He asked closing it, I nodded 'yes'. Plus the others are downstairs watching a movie, "what's up buddy boo" I said as he sat beside me, he avoided eye contact with me for a good 5 minutes, I waited patiently for him to tell me what's up.

"I uh, i think I like Eddie" he said pushing up his glasses, and then fiddled with my bear I had laying on my bed. I looked at him and slowly gave him a smile

"I know Richie, my gay-dar goes crazy when you look at him with your Beaty eyes" I said reaching my arms out for me to hug him, "don't tell anyone please" he said, and took in my hug, I rocked back and forth giving him the biggest hug. "Promise rich, when and if you decide to tell the others, I will always have your back" I said, giving him a friendly kiss on the cheek. "Love you bestie" I said as I stood up, "I don't even know if eddies... you know" he said
Standing up beside me, we threw are arms around each others shoulders and walked downs stairs "don't sweat about it rich" I said sitting down, he nodded.

"What we're you two love birds doing up there" Ben said, aggressively winking. "Making out, trying on Bens clothes.. the usual" Richie joked.
