~ later that day~
"What about that one?" I said as I pointed to a blue and yellow bird in a tree while looking over Stans shoulder, "western blue bird" he said flipping to the page with some information on that type.

Ben, Billy, and Richie were over building a dam. Eddie, Stan and myself didn't wanna get dirty so Stans teaching me bird stuff.

"How's the bird watching going nerds?" Richie mocked as he threw a log into the water.
"Very fun, actually" Stan stated, I sat beside him on the log "oh yeah? Laura is it fun?" Richie asked as he wiped his mud filled hands on his shorts. "Yeah! It's very interesting" I said smiling over to them.

"So Eddie hows your mom?" Richie asked grabbing his chest making it look like he was grabbing a women's breast. "Stop Richie" Eddie said sitting in-front of me to see Stanley's book also, "she ever talk about how much she missed my love?" Richie said coming over with muddy hands again,
"wipe your hands Richie" I said handing him wet wipes from my fanny pack. "Yes mother, can I have some boobie milk too?" He joked, which for some reason made half the boys giggle. I sighed and looked down at the book,

"AHHH, HELP" we all heard in the distance, we looked at each other confused "guys look! That's mikes bike!" Eddie said, "the home school kid?" Richie questioned as we heard another yell for help.

"We have to help him" I said, looking up at Stanley, then Over to the others. "C-Come" Billy started running towards the yells
"Wait up I've got short legs!" I said probably half way behind them, Richie stopped and turned around "get on! We must rescue the home schooled fool!" He said trying to act like a super hero, I climbed on his back and he started to catch up with the others, Ben threw a rock at the guys chasing Mike.

"ROCK WAR!!" Richie yelled as he put me down, "stay behind me" he said, I chuckled and picked up a rock and threw it, hitting the one guy with a mullet. "Good shot hot stuff!" Richie said as he patted my back, I continued to throw, Mike crawled over to us and joined, the boom! Everything went black.

Bens pov:
I started a rock war to help save this home schooled boy, mikes life! It was going smoothly, a few hits here and there, some of us got hit.
Mike got over to us, and the older guys fled. I turned around to see my sister on the ground with a big cut on her head.

"She w-was hit R-r-really hard" Billy said as he held her head up, Stanley and Mike made their way over, "pass me the fanny pack" Eddie said to me, I passed him it.

He took out a small bottle of peroxide, and some gauze, "Is she awake?" I asked, "unconscious probably" Eddie said as he cleaned her up,

"We better get more supplies so she doesn't get an infection" Eddie added as Stanley stood her unconscious body up. "I got her" Stanley said putting her onto his back, "must of been a hard hit" mike said, we looked at him, "oh and thanks guys.. but you didn't need to get involved, look what happened" mike continued, "now there going to be after you too" he added finally.
"Well they're already after us, so welcome to the losers club" Richie said as he walked holding Laura's fanny pack.

"Ow" Laura said quietly, "tuff girl" Stan said as he took the ice off her head. "Hey shes awake" Eddie said, then handing me a pain killer. I sat up and looked around, "weren't we in a war?" She chuckled, "they fled after you got smacked in the head by a big old nut sack" Richie tried joking to make me feel better.
I put my hand to my forehead, and felt a bandage, "thanks guys, guess I should of stayed back a bit" I hugged Ben, he looked really worried.
"New kid?" We heard a girl say from around the corner, "oh hi!" Ben said as he walked over to her, "what happened here?" She said looking past Ben at bloody Stan and Eddie, as they were cleaning up my forehead earlier.
"Oh my sister got hit during a rock war, really bad, but she's feeling better now" Ben explained, the guys were confused on why this girl was talking to Ben.

"I'm beverly" she said smiling down at me, "Laura" I said, smiling over at Ben.
"How do you know Ben?" Richie asked, then whispering something to Stan. "Bumped into home earlier" she ignored them whispering and explained how she met Ben.

"Laura come here for a second" Richie called me over to him, Mike, Stan and Eddie as Beverly continued to talk to Ben and Billy.
"What's going on guys?" I said grabbing my head as movement gave me a migraine, I held on to mikes arm so I didn't fall over "she sleeps around we heard.." Stan said, I looked back at her, "oh..?" I said quietly, knowing Ben probably likes her already. "Maybe she's changed, or maybe they're rumours" Stanley added to reassure me, I took ahold of his arm since he was on the other side of me, I shrugged and smiled at the guys, then sat back down.

"Eddie, do you have vitamins on you?" I asked shaking my empty bottle, he walked over and dig through his fanny pack, pulling out some vitamin D gummies "here, these ones always help me with getting rid of migraines" he said, and sat himself beside me. "You know, I don't think the rumours are true about her" he said as he scratched the inside of his cast with a pencil, "they're not" Bev said walking towards us, I smiled at her to let her know that I trust her. "We will have to have a girls night, I need girl friends" I said to Beverly, leaning onto Richies back as he was sitting on the ground in-front of me. "For sure, anyways I gotta run, catch you later?" She said to Ben and then waved to all of us.
