The truth

Bills pov:

"G-Guys cmo-" I stood at the top of the stairs calling for Stan and Laura to hurry up. But they were too busy... kissing.

I smiled as I slowly turned around and walked back into the living room where everyone was waiting. "They coming?" Richie asked as he jumped in excitement at the thought of him seeing Eddie.

"They're u-u-uh" i stuttered as a smile grew bigger on his face, chuckling a bit. "Don't tell me IT isn't fully gone?" Mike said, making a joke. "No n-no they're k-kissing" I looked at Beverly as she dropped her jaw.

"Holy shit?!" She said running to the basement standing at the top of the stairs. "Dammmn laur get it!!" Richie yelled from the living room.

"Aw you made them stop!"

Laura's pov:

"dammmn laur get it!" I heard Rich yell from upstairs, I stopped to look up the stairs laughing and running up as Stanley followed.

"Aw you made them stop!" Beverly chuckled as I stepped into the living room.

"We got black shirts, hats and other random stuff" Stanley said as him and I dropped it all into a pile "choose away" I said as I went upstairs.

I went to my closet grabbing my black long sleeve shirt, and black jeans.

"Soooo" Beverly said as she walked into my room. I rolled my eyes and slid on my pants, "good kisser?" She asked as I handed her my flashlight.

"All I'm gonna say.. I felt it everywhere. Tingles" I grinned and walked down the stairs.

Stanley's pov:

"So you kissed my sister" Ben looked across the room at my with a straight face.

Everyone was changing into black clothes so we could rescue Eddie, "yeah. You got a problem?" I chuckled as mike grinned at the chapstick still in my shirt pocket.

"Cherry huh" mike laughed, "oh my god guys" I sighed and chuckled, We heard the girls coming back down and got our shoes on.

"Where's my chapstick?" Laura asked as she looked under the pillows "catch" I smiled at her as I took it out of the pocket SHE put it in, obviously forgetting I had it.

She softly smiled and put her hands out to catch it.

"Everyone ready?" She asked applying a new coat to her lips. I can't believe I kissed her after a month of me trying but wussing out.

"Yep" "yeah" "let's gooo" everyone responded. She opened the door and ran around her house to where we left our bikes. "I'm gonna ride my bike there, but give Eddie it that way it doesn't cause a lot of noise for his mom to wake up" she said as she jumped onto her bike and placed her skateboard into the basket.

"Everyone got flashlights?" Richie asked as he held tiny lights in his hand. "Pass me one" I said as I reached my arm out.

~ at Eddies ~

Laura's pov:

We all placed our bikes around the corner so his mom would hear us drop them.

"Lights" Ben said as he turned his on, "don't shine it in his moms window" Richie smiled as we stood outside of Eddies window.

Stanley began to climb up to Eddies window, I watched as Rich got more and more happy.

Eddies pov:

Stanley lightly tapped my window then shined his light in to tell me he was here.
I opened up my window for him to climb in, "hey buddy" he whispered as I tied the rope onto my window ledge, but loose enough for us to pull down.

"You look happy" i whispered as he crouched down for me to step onto his back. "Oh my god, you didn't?" I slapped him lightly on the arm, as he climbed out the window.

"Shh" I heard the others mumble below us, we slowly got closer to the ground, Im so eager to give Rich a huge ass hug, I start tapping Stanley to hurry up.

We reached the ground and instantly felt rich around me, embracing his huge hug I squeeze him back. "Uh guys nows not the time" mike said as my moms bedroom light came on, then the hallway, the stairs and kitchen. "Fuck" I said as she opened the doors, me still in Richies arms.

"WHAT IS GOING ON OUT HERE" she yelled, loud enough for the whole block to hear. "Mommy I'm sorry, but I need to be with my friends" dropped Richies hug and felt him grab my hand. "I need to be with them mommy, I'm sorry, I'll be home later" I said, I turned around waiting for her to yell something.

"Eddie bear, your sickness... I can't have you out here at night, you'll get a nasty cold, and I can't watch you die" she quietly said, I stopped in my steps. My Anger grew, knowing she's kept me in long enough do to this 'sickness' I have.

"Mrs.Kaspbrak, I'm sorry.. I need Eddie, you know he's my best friend. And something awful happened, you wouldn't let me see him, but I needed to" Laura said as she walked up to my mom. I knew my mom would back hand her if she got super mad, I walked behind Laura, Richies and I hand still locked together.

"Word on the street is your a little brat now, and I don't want your dirty hands on my baby!" She yelled switching from me to Rich.

"Dirty? Dirty! DIRTY?!" I spoke, I looked at Richie and he shook his head for me to go off, "mommy he's my friend! He's not dirty, you only care about yourself, well guess what! I care about everyone here, and you just don't seem to care about me because your putting my mental health into a-a fucking spiral! Especially when I can't see the boy I love for weeks straight"

I've never spoken to my mom like that before, I watched her face go from red, to pale. She looked at Beverly and Laura, "you did this, your dirty, slutty bodies made my son the way he is" I looked over to Beverly and Laura, and watched as Stan clenched his fists

"The way I am? You mean, gay?" I said, I was heartbroken she didn't want to say it, but I was released she didn't say any other words. I grabbed Richies hand tighter than before and walked in the direction Mike, Stan, Bill, and Ben were in.

"I just want to tell you Mrs.K. That you were the best mother figure I had around, but now.. that's all different, because of some rumours" Laura softly spoke, as she caught up to us I saw her face red, Beverly didn't speak a word.
