Truth and Lies

I struggle with truth and i struggle with lies,

While one of them starts the other one dies,

In stories they mingle and begin to entwine,

Plotting and dotting within ones own mind,

Is the truth a lie is a lie the truth,

In stories they mingle as your mind goes aloof,

In stories fairies can fly with  their wings,

But in the real world there are no such things,

Dragons breath fire and scorch the whole land,

The only real dragons is some old rock band,

Vampires and werewolves and all nightmare beasts,

Are simply dreamt by people asleep,

Little kind elfs that help people with work,

Are simply slaves, with no greater worth,

Fairy godmothers help you go to the ball,

Our new generation will crumble and fall,

True love will always conquer all,

The only TRUE love is a waist that is small,

People are cursed, gifted, and loved,

People are cursing, greedy, and snubbed,

Violence is just a fairy tale dream,

Violence is much more real then it seems,

Dr.Seuss and all his great books,

Good thing they're not real, how crazy they look,

All these good dreams are warped and burnt,

Like lies and truths the brain hasn't learnt,

When will the world wake up and see,

The world we live in is supposed to be free,

Free to be free not trapped in the grey,

Where lies and truths that are mixed wish to stay,

So put down war guns heres a true revelation,

Instead of new lands think of new generations,

Where children can live with their hearts in the sky,

Knowing not of the mix between truths and lies,

Knowing only their hapiness with loving nurture,

If we'd only start caring more of their future,

If we care about them and not just ourselves,

Their mind will be fixed, and the rift we will weld,

Let me finish with words to stay,

All of your realities,

because dreams are on their way.
