It's summer break, so I can spend even more time with Payton and my other friends. My dad still hasen't found me yet, my summer is going by pretty good. I go outside and see Payton. He's picking me up to go to the movies. I sit down and he places his hand on my thigh and kisses my cheek.
We arrive at the movies and I take a seat in the back because the front is terrible. 30 minutes through the movie, Payton goes to the bathroom. 10 minutes later, I get up to find him, he's been gone for a while and he usually takes like 5 minutes in the bathroom.
I get up and walk around the movie theater. In the closet of the movie theater, I see him with another girl. Not just another girl, it's Rose. He's making out with her.
P: hey flower, I love you.
R: love you too.
I don't know why I'm so surprised. She's been avoiding me for days and it has always been the days Payton was busy. How long have they done this? How have I not seen this before?
I walk back to the movie pretending I didn't see anything. When I sit down, Payton comes in 2 minutes after.
Me: where were you? You missed like 30 minutes of the movie!
P: sorry, my stomach hurt.

After the movie, Payton drove me back home. He was really quiet so I decided to text him and try to get the truth out of him. We recently made a group text with Rose and Payton and Me. How did I not see this.
