I wake up today by my alarm going off. I never put an alarm on but today is the first day of school. It's Friday so I thought they would open school on Monday but they would want us to get as much learning done as possible. The first day of school is a big day. I need to get a good first impression and a cute outfit. It is around 93 degrees outside and it is hot. So I pick out a cute outfit for summer.

As Olivia would say, "It's romper season!" So she's making me wear different rompers this season

As Olivia would say, "It's romper season!" So she's making me wear different rompers this season. I've never bought so many clothes in my life in one visit. I go downstairs and get my backpack. Olivia gets hers too and we both start walking to school.

O: wait! You didn't eat breakfast!

L: that's fine. I never eat breakfast in the morning. Or at this time actually.

O: here, take my cliff bar.

L: thanks.

I rip open the packet and eat while Olivia explains to me why breakfast is so important. Then I turn to my left and see my dad. I'm scared but I try not to show it because I don't want to disturb Olivia. He stares at me and smirks. I look down and I suddenly don't want to eat anymore.

L: here, do you want the rest of the bar?

O: no, I ate.

L: but I'm not hungry, I ate more that half.

O: okay, I'll take it. Is there something wrong you seem so worried?

L: what? No. It's just I'm a bit nervous. Usually Eric would be here but he's in Hawaii visiting his grandma.

O: you don't need to be worried. Plus, we're going to Hawaii during the weekend. Sandra, the babysitter, is watching Delilah when I'm at school and I used to be nervous, leaving my baby with someone at barely know. But, I learned to trust her and you should too. But with Eric.

L: I trust Eric. 100%. I just, am worried.

O: about what? That he's gonna find someone else?

L: no! Of course not! I trust him! I just miss him.

O: we'll see him tomorrow. Let's just focus on today.

We walk into the school doors as if it was our first day in high school. But it isn't! We're juniors!

I go to class 30b and Olivia is in the same home room as me. After 100 minutes, we go to room 45g. Olivia isn't in both my classes. Our English and History teacher. After 90 minutes we go to History, after another 90 minutes we go to class a203 (pronounced as A 23) and that is our Math and Science class. Olivia is in my math class. Which is also 180 minutes long together. Between History and Math, we have lunch. Lunch is about 45 minutes and every Wednesday we decide if we want to eat in the cafeteria or have off campus lunch plus an extra 30 minutes for studying. During Finals week we have off campus lunch everyday and an extra 90 minutes for studying. Wednesday's must be my favorite day of the week now.
