"Geez, was I hit by a bus or something?" Khai groaned as he woke up the next morning. What even happened last night ? Khai relunctantly sat up and rubbed at his eyes when he noticed the asprin and water bottle placed on his nightstand along with a note that read: 'I'm not doing this for you, I just don't want to deal with your whining tomorrow.' Khai couldn't help but laugh upon reading the writing he recognized as Third's....Wait...Third? Was he here last night? Khai slapped his head as the memories of last night resurfaced. Did I really cry in front of Third? This is so embarrassing. Khai sighed as he downed the medicine and hoped that Third had somehow forgotten everything.
Khai grinned upon seeing his target when he arrived at their university. Just act natural. You didn't embarrass yourself last night, not at all. "You know Third, you could have just told me you cared about me instead of making excuses" Khai teased as he caught up to walk by Third's side.
"Why are you talking to me?" Third raised his eyebrow.
"Oi, you left me such a sweet note this morning and now I'm supposed to not even talk to you?"
"Like I said, I only put out the medicine so I wouldn't have to hear you complain about what a bad migraine you have" Third shrugged. "Yesterday was your birthday and you seemed pretty miserable but it's no longer your birthday so I have no reason to acknowledge you."
"I can't tell if you're kidding or not" Khai stopped to bend over so he could observe Third's face closer, "And what do you mean miserable? I had a great time last night." In a way, Khai was testing Third to see if he would bring up what Khai had said to him last night, though he didn't necessarily want to know if Third remembered.
"I'm not" Third said as he shoved Khai away, "I just mean you didn't seem happy, that's all." There was no way Third had forgotten what Khai had said to him last night, he was sober after all. No matter how mad he was at a person though, he was never the type to bring up something personal if the person did not bring it up themselves. It was there business, not Third's, and he wasn't the type to judge.
"Are you mad at me or something?" Khai raised an eyebrow, "I don't understand why you suddenly want me to stay away from you."
"Hm that's a great question. I'm sure it's hard to rack through all the memories in that big head of yours of when you were a jerk, but I'm sure you can figure it out" Third pat his shoulder before making his way to class.
"Oh thank god you're here Third, I was scared I would have no seat partner today" Two said when Third walked into the classroom.
"Don't be dramatic" Third rolled his eyes as he sat down.
"I'm not being dramatic" Two slapped his shoulder, "I don't want to have to talk to Bone and Khai all day; it would be torture."
"You talking shit?" Khai slapped the back of Two's head as he entered.
"Ow! Yes I am, I won't deny it!"
"Asshole" Bone laughed as he kicked the back of Two's seat.
"This is why I hate you guys" Two joked, "Third is so much...never mind."
"No, no go on. Finish your sentence" Third raised an eyebrow.
"Well I was going to say you're nicer but that's kind of a lie" Two laughed awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Two, I have a present for you" Third said as he acted like he was taking something out of his pocket before throwing the middle finger at him.
