"Ryuzaki," I turned my head to the voice, finding Soichiro Yagami looking back at me. "One of the latest deaths that is suspected of being Kira is a woman that lives in London. Maybe he is broadening his range, after all," I turned to my laptop, quickly finding the woman he was talking about.
"No, I don't think so. From what it says on her file, she lived around the same area as the men from that Japanese company were when they were killed. One of the men was found guilty of being with a prostitute around that area, and her file says she was a prostitute. It's safe to assume that Kira came to the same conclusion and decided to kill her off as well as the men,"
"But," Yagami paused, covering the bottom of his mouth with his hand. "I suppose you're right. She was just too easy of a target to ignore,"
I found it strange that the killings were going on near where the orphanage was. It was like something was calling me, or maybe that Kira knew my origins, which would be complicating things.
I shook off that thought for the time being. The only people who knew me as L were Watari and that friend I knew long ago. I was sure she had forgotten about me, anyway. I told her it was futile to try to find me again. I was nothing special enough to remember in the first place, at least in my eyes.
The case was getting increasingly more confusing, specially when Watari said we had to turn it to the news channel that usually had Kira sending notes to me.
"I am Kitsune, and I want to help on the Kira investigation,"
