Jin POV

"Hi my name is Kim Taehyung. You can call me Tae or what ever that make you comfortable. I don't care as long as you like it." we shake hands and respond to each other's smiles.

"My name is Kim Seokjin. Call me Jin." I bow down a bit as a sign of respect.

"Em I think we look like same age? How old are you? I'm 25 this years but turn 26 in December." his boxy smile caught my eyes. He looks so so handsome when he smile. I can't deny it.

"Yeah me too. My birthday on 4 December. You?" I asked when we left college after spending several hours in the class. Yes i've been a college student for a few months and I can adjust myself now.

Instead of being arrogant or avoiding myself, I just wanted to adapt to the environment, then thinking of something else.

"Oh my God! My family name is Kim and yours too. Omo not that only, we born in same years and same month! I'm so excited honestly. By the way, my birthday on 30 December." he giggle. "Don't forget to give me gift for my birthday okay, hyung!" he elbow my arm and intentionally emphasized the last sentence of 'hyung'.

We like this whenever we meet. We know each other and be friend two months already. And he always pretend like we know today. Taehyung like kidding around and I like it. Usually, he's the one who's over reacting. He said it was funny when he remembered the first time we knew each other. I just follow her crackhead.

I'm a new student in this college because appa said I was studying abroad. So I don't know anyone in this college and thanks to Tae, he the first one who say hello to me as I set foot in this new world.  

"Don't too much okay i'm not your hyung!" we broke into laugh after act like a kid. He slap my arm and I pulled her hair.

"Oh My appa is here so I have to go now. We'll see next day okay! Bye Taetae!" I waved my hand and got in the car.

"Who's that Jinnie?" my appa ask me when i'm already got into the car and put on the seat belt.

"Taehyung. My new, bestie, and first friend!" I said excitedly. Yeah who not excited right if handsome person be your friend?

Appa glance at me and clear her throat before speak again. "Em appa think you have to introduced him to appa? Don't you think that? Like what I said before, I want to know all your friends here so I wouldn't hesitate to allow him to be friends with you after knowing his heart properly?"

I just smile. Not answer her question nor nod. I just left the question unanswered.

"Jinnie, I didn't want to tie you up or block your life. I'm just concerned about your safety right now. After what happened. I don't want to repeat the same mistake. Do you know how miserable me was living a year of guilt for failing to protect you? Five years Jin, five years. Please don't make appa feel the same way anymore. I can't, I just can't anymore."

"You're like a newborn baby because you lost your memory. Innocent and pure. You don't remember anyone. You don't remember anything also. What if your friends is your enemy? The enemy who's always looking for a chance to destroy your life for the second time? So that's why appa had to do this for your sake and your safety." I can see appa try to control himself from shedding tears. My chest feel heavy of pain with what i did. Feel guilty began to appear in my heart.

I turned my body slightly towards appa. "I'm sorry appa. I just tired for try to remembering the past. And as usual, I can't remember anything. I'm really sorry okay. Next week or when Taehyung free, I'll bring her to see you appa. I promise! And I'm so sorry because not introduce him when first time we know each other. He's kind appa, and we be friend two months already."

He just nodded with his hand wipe my hand and the other hand in car stering.

Taehyung POV

He looks so innocent! Her skin so glowing and clear more than my future. I remember when first time I study here. For first, I think he look like ignore person around him or we call it as 'arrogant'? But it was all wrong when I reprimanded him for the first time. So people say don't judge people from the outside before they know the inside. Don't judge book from by its cover.

I just went to college a week later after him. Maybe he didn't know about it because I asked my classmates about him and they all said Seokjin was alone all the time. So they don't have time to know about her.

I unlocked my car and going back to my rent house. My college providing a special hostel for first and second year students but I don't stay at dormitory because I prefer to stay alone rather than share smells with others.

I offered Jin to send him to the front of his house but he refused. He said that her appa would always send and pick him up from college. Such a father's son.

I grab my phone in my pocket and sat on the couch after arriving home. I scrolled through my social accounts and then I got a message from Seokjin. I straightened my body and opened the message.

Seokjinnie🦙: Hey Taetae, my appa want to meet you. If you free let me know okay so we can arrange time to dinner together. In my house if you don't care?

Me: Yeah i'm free now already. Can i see your appa now? And I can't wait anymore want to see my father in law, maybe? Hahaha just kidding HYUNG!

Seokjinnie🦙: Stop talking nonsense or I will make sure we not see each other next time kid! So when you free?

Me: Yeah whatever mom. Em what about next week? I can send you to your house and I also can see your appa? Because next week class end in the evening and I'm totally free that day.

Seokjinnie🦙: Okay set! See you soon boxy smile! Bye bye!

Boxy smile? How nonsense! But I was more nasty than him because I called him as alpaca. Because her neck, laugh and her smiles are the same. So ridiculous! He already know and he don't take it serious.

I put back my phone on the table and take a shower. Don't know why I shower while smiling. Isn't it weird?
