It's been a while, I'm sorry!

Recap: Kuroo fell on Hayami, accidentally kissing her and she runs out of the court where she proceeds to have a panic attack.

It's a long chapter this time, 5.6K words. This is because I wanted to show Hayami and Kuroo's opposing views towards the world. Different experiences make us who we are, and the both of them are no different.

She's bitter, and he's sweet.

She thinks he's too nice, he thinks she's too cold.

Anyways, I'll be glad to know whose side you are on in this chapter!

"Oikawa-san, please wake up."

Hayami snuggled further into the blankets, ignoring the voice completely. She was tired. Voices around her giggled.

"She looks cute when she sleeps, not scary at all."

"Hayami-chan, wake up before I jump on you!"

"Oikawa-san, it's time for us to get going. The boys will be awake now."

Hayami opened her eyes, startled. She was in training camp, wasn't she? What was going on? How did she end up on this mattress?

Rubbing her eyes tiredly, she got up and blinked blearily at the others who were already dressed and ready for the day.

"I apologize for troubling you. I don't know why I didn't keep an alarm the previous night."

At her last words, Yukie Shirofuku's mouth curved up in a creepy smile. The other girls looked at each other and smirked. Yukie grinned brightly at Hayami.

"So, what happened last night?"

Hayami stared back blankly at her. "What?"

"Oikawa-chan, don't act sly!"

What did happen last night? Why don't I rem-

Isao-kun, stay away.

MANAGER-CHAN!

Kuroo?

All men are trash.

She froze up but none of the other girls seemed to notice as last night's memories came back to her. Regaining her bearings, Hayami shook her head.

"I don't know what happened. I fell asleep somehow and don't know how I came up here."

Kaori tilted her head. "Oh, is that so? Because last night Kuroo-san brought you here."

Eri nodded. "He carried you up here bridal style!"

"HE WHAT?!" Hayami shrieked.

At the other end of the school, Kuroo stared at the phone in his hands. It was Hayami's, and he had forgotten all about it until it had started ringing early in the morning with the most annoying ringtone he'd ever heard in his life.

It was only on 13% charge but he could see the various missed calls and text messages blinking on her screen, waiting to be read.

Sighing, he slid the phone back into his pocket before getting up and walking towards the bathroom with his toothbrush. It was time for practice, but he couldn't stop thinking about her since yesterday.
