.

"They doubled their score?" A commentator gasped, shaking his head in disbelief. Another man paled, pointing at the basketball ace Aomine Daiki.

"He's a monster. Touou's scary!"

"There's a reason he's the ace of the Generation of Miracles."

...

"Midorimacchi, leaving already?" Kise Ryouto frowned, seeing his green haired friend turn to walk away.

"Instead of worrying about me you should worry about Kuroko," Midorima Shintarou stated plainly, pushing up his spectacles using his middle finger.

"Aomine completely stopped and trashed his basketball. That must've been psychologically damaging for Kuroko. Besides, he's an Aquarius. He had bad luck today any which way. This match's future had been decided a long time ago."

...

"Lets hope Seirin doesn't lose their next two games. Their spirits are crushed."

...

"Hey Kuroko," Kagami turned towards his shadow. Kuroko flinched slightly.

"I think this is our limit. I thought we could go further but look at us. I don't know if we can still play like this."

The shadow raised his head, his eyes widening as Kagami left.

His light left.

...

"The only one who can beat me, is me."

...

Hayami rushed towards the gates of Seirin, still in her Nekoma outfit. She was late, horribly so getting caught up with the members who'd ask her to set the ball to them.

Kenma had given her a small smile and had taken out his PSP. It went without saying that he was happy to take a break from Lev's constant whining. Yaku included.

Entering the basketball court, she glanced at the watch. It was 7:30, not too late.

The court was filled with members playing against each other. Whistles were blown and Kuroko was seen from the corner of her eyes, suddenly appearing and disappearing from vision. The basketball seemed to be curving on its own.

Taking a few gradual steps, she walked towards Riko Aida. The brunette gave her a bright grin, but she could see the hurt in her eyes.

"How's it going?" Hayami asked tentatively, glancing at Hyuga take a successful three pointer.

"Its going better." Riko confessed. "I contacted Kiyoshi Teppei. He was our ace and now he's finally returning. Everything's going back to normal. They're recovering but.. I have no idea how they really are mentally."

"Where's bakagami?" Hayami turned to her. The coach let out an annoyed growl, raising her fist.

"I'm going to beat up that basketball idiot if he doesn't come back soon!"

"Ah, a girl!" Cat boy exclaimed, pointing at her and Hayami turned to deadpan at him. That name would be stuck with her for all eternity. She waved at them, muttering a hello.

"Don't get distracted, Koga!"

"Today's the day we'll stop you, Kuroko!" Two boys exclaimed, ganging up on the blue haired phantom. Kuroko merely blinked and within that second - he disappeared. The basketball made its way into the net and the buzzer sounded, signalling another point.
