"Like girl let shit go we been over this either you women up and work this out with him or move on. I'm all for whatever choice you chose but ain't no nigga kicking me out. Bitch once I leave ain't no coming back."
Drea was all for fronting in front of me knowing I knew better than to believe her when it came to men. I gave the best advice still when I listen to her I have to laugh because she will have me in jail.
We was sitting at a coffee shop down the street from her apartment after I had to many drinks last night and passed out at her crib. Sitting at a table in the back we were the only customers. When we was talking a man came over I didn't recognize sat at our table. Taken aback Drea started popping off at the mouth.
"Excuse me sir we didn't say you could sit here."
The man was closer to Drea he pulled her by her left arm while grabbing her by her hair. But in a rubbing notion to play it off she yelled out in pain.
The waitress was about to come over but I told her we was fine not to make a scene. Yaking her hair harder he told Drea.
"Bitch mind your mouth before I put something in it he said flashing his gun on his waist below the table."
Drea closed her eyes to cope with the pain while beads of sweat ran across my forehead. He had dark shades on watching me while he sported street clothing matching a pair of Jordan's. Leaning back to try and remain calm I tossed my purse some bills fell out. He counted them with his eyes.
"Damn your best friend is worth a grand to you?"
Still crying and begging Drea mascara ran down her face.
"No but I got.more money if not that than what you want I yelled."
He took off his shades and I began to realize it was Omar. I remembered his face from when him and Jas came to sign the contract to have the party. His eyes were dilated like he was high off something. Omar let Drea go signaling for her to be quiet. Turning his attention back to me.
"My baby mama and my damn kid ain't worth no damn amount of money. Plus when I had the chance to kill your boyfriend I should've. He want to be me so bad how can I blame him. Now Ricky wants him dead but your mama told me that I can get a message to him through you. So when you see Derek tell that nigga I want smoke."
He got up and left without saying another word. Drea sat still crying with tears running down her face. I was beyond angry I was threw with this situation and my father was gone have to stay out of it. Because my mother was going to get hers. We left after I paid the bill and I drop Drea off home. When I got there Ko was standing outside her door when he caught Drea crying through my front window. Rushing to my car I told him to stay with her and that when she's ready to talk she'll tell him. And that I'll be back after I handle some business.
Hurrying home I changed my attire to all black while putting on my timbs pulling back my hair. I grabbed my gun out my closet with adrenaline. This gun was a gift I was given from my father bodyguard when I was 16 years old. In all my years I never had to shoot no one but the day came when I have to so I needed it for protection.
I got into my car and headed for Brooklyn. First I pulled up to a old abandon crack house that my father and I use to pick her up from after running the streets all night trying to get her home. When I approach the house I could hear talking and I picked up her voice up through the open door. After rushing to my car I scouted the block I parked my car about two block from the house and monitored who came in and out. It was becoming dark now about 5 o'clock reading from my dash board I observed for 8 hours. I was growing tired but more upset my best friend could've lost her life today. Traffic wasn't heavy no more like it was earlier that day so I put on my ski mask to head into the house. When I got inside I could hear her talking with someone else so I creep to where there voices where coming from. When I came down the steps they were sitting on a old mattress smelled of urine. I caught they attention when I hit the last step going into a basement when my eyes met hers and a man in a brown jacket wearing a apron getting high as well both stop talking. The man was putting a needle in his arm while my mother was sniffing powder. Pointing my gun in their direction I stopped them. I was going to scare her into never bothering me again.
"Dont you move bitch and you get the fuck out of here now I ordered to the man."
I felt my eyes burning with tears I was fearless and didn't care about the consequences after. He took off wobbling and we were left alone. She raised her hands crying nonstop till I took off my mask because I wanted her to see my face. I wasnt living in fear or begging for her love no more. My father was all I had growing up and after her telling me that Derek would be died or the baby. Including her having Drea assaulted she crossed the line.
"Bitch get out of here you ain't gone shoot me. If you keep on I'm going to kill you my damn self..We both know you ain't got it in you."
My mother finished off her cigarette that was already lit raking a puff and used it as a distraction while tossing a cigarette on the floor. She pulled out her pocket knife to charge over to me but I let the gun go off twice shooting her in the chest. Staring at her lifeless body I shed one last tear before putting my mask on leaving the abandoned house. My heart felt relieved for once and my father didn't have to worry no longer. I learned that a woman has to put her feelings aside and make harsh decisions now I didnt have to want her love.
