The last show came quickly and ended quickly. Before any of us knew it was the final bow of the night and the curtain was closing. Jimin's best friend, Taehyung, managed to get a reservation at the restaurant, so he invited both me and Jimin to eat with him. Taehyung was smart and booked in advance instead of Jimin trying to pull the card son the night before.

"It's been a while, you guys have been so busy," Taehyung says, handing the menu back to the waitress.

"It has. But the show is over and we have two months of freedom before we are locked back up into our cages." I snicker at Jimin's outlandish words while he takes my menu and hands ours over to the waitress.

"So I hear through the grapevine Y/n has a boyfriend," Taehyung says once the waitress leaves, raising an eyebrow and smirking at me.

"Was that grapevine Jimin?" I ask, glancing between the boys.

"Maybe," Jimin says taking a sip of his wine.

"Well, is it true?" Taehyung asks, taking a sip of his drink as well.

"Yes and no. I have been seeing someone, but he isn't my boyfriend." I explain, taking a sip of my own drink.

"Who is it? It's been so long since you've dated anyone." Taehyung asks, intrigued to know more.

"His name is Jungkook, we met at Bon Bon Ice Cream." I continue to tell the story, all be it a short one, and Jimin spurt in a few things on occasion. Taehyung seems to be impressed by what I've said of Jungkook and he nods his head slowly.

"Sounds like a good guy." Our food arrives and I take the chance to put Taehyung in the spotlight.

"So how's your painting going?" Taehyung was a semi-famous artist in our town. He was known for his creative style and pieces, his pen name was Vante. I think he told us it was a mix of Vincent Van Gough and his own name. He made a living by selling pieces he's done and by doing murals on buildings.

"Very well, in fact, I did a few pieces for this very restaurant. Jimin's father even called me and ordered some custom paintings." I take another sip of my drink while he talks.

"That's amazing Tae!" Jimin says before taking a bite of his meal. "Oh hey, are you still playing games with your online friend?" Taehyung nods as he had some food in his mouth. He takes his napkin and cleans his face before smiling widely.

"Actually, we're finally going to get together! I invited him to come to my gallery showing next week and he accepted!" Taehyung looks so excited, his smile didn't even waver when he took another bite of his dinner. Taehyung had been friends for several years with another gamer. They had met in a few games and had really hit it off. They chatted a lot and called but they hadn't yet shown their face to each other.

"So when is your gallery showing?" I ask after another bite.

"Next Wednesday. Are you guys still coming?" We both nod and he smiles in relief. "Good, I don't know how I would do these things without you guys there. I mean you are the people who supported me when I was first getting into this line of work."

"Of course! We'll always be here to support you." Jimin says in a comforting way. The rest of the dinner goes by smoothly. We spend the well needed time to catch up and talk about others that have happened since we last got together.

The rest of the weekend slips by us. Jungkook and I haven't talked much. Just a few conversations and phone calls but that was the extent of it. It was a Monday but it was a nice day. The sun was out and there weren't many clouds in the sky. I pull out my phone and message Jungkook to see if he was free. He responded a few minutes later saying he was. I sent another quick text inviting him to go out on a picnic with me. He agreed and a small smile crept to my face. Quickly I rushed downstairs and began to fill a basket with food. I cut up some fruit, some cheese. Just small foods. I quickly asked him how he liked his sandwiches and made both of ours, placing them in the basket as well. With all the food taken care of, I went back up the stairs to get changed.

Jimin was out with Taehyung, so my stylist was gone. I walk over to the closet and look through the assortment of colors. I decide to play it safe and go simple. I pull out my white dress with the buttons in the front. I change into the dress and head into the bathroom. I brush all the knots out of my hair and then touch-up the rest of me. Satisfied with my look I go back down to get my phone. There are two messages from Jungkook and one from my friend Bela. I check the messages from Jungkook first.

Jungkook: Hey

Jungkook: Am I picking you up or are you getting me?

I quickly type an answer and send it telling him I'll get him. One problem resolved I turn my attention to Bela.

Bela: Girl I need you a girl night soon

I text her back and we plan for a quick girl night. I get another message from Jungkook, it's his address. I grab all the food and my bag, throwing my phone inside. I grab my pair of Converse cause I was driving and I don't like to drive in heels.

Getting inside my car I plug my phone in and a song from TXT's new EP begins to play. 'Can't You See Me?' plays as I pull up Jungkooks address onto the car screen and buckle my seat belt.

Jungkook's house is only a couple of minutes away from mine so I arrive pretty quickly. Turning off the car I get out and make my way nervously to his door. I knock once on the door, quickly putting my hands behind my back. My stomach felt tight with little butterflies flying around. Nobody answers for a minute so I knock again, this time trying to be louder. This time I can hear someone shuffling over to the door. The door opens to reveal one of Jungkook's roommates I'm assuming. The man smiles at me and his dimples pop out, this must be Namjoon.

"Oh hey, y/n right?" He asks and I nod shyly. "Jungkook's almost done, come on in." He steps back and opens the door wider for me to walk in. I enter their living room, light brownish walls surround the two couches which face each other. There are two armchairs on the other side of the couches closest to me and opposite to the chairs, there's a fireplace with tv over it. The room has a warm feeling and Namjoon sits on the couch. He motions for me to sit as well and so I sit in the armchair close to where he sat.

"So. Your Namjoon, am I right?" I ask and Namjoon nods again, his dimples were so cute. I had to fight the urge to go boop.

"It's good to meet you in daylight. Jungkook had talked about how pretty you are but I couldn't really see that night." Namjoons compliments making me smile shyly.

"It's nice to meet you as well." Namjoon and I continue to make small talk, waiting for Jungkook to finish. Namjoon has just begun to tell a story when Jungkook tried to fight a dog when the man himself comes downstairs.

"Hey, Namjoon who are you talking to-" He stops when I turn around showing him my face. "Hey Y/n. Sorry, you were stuck with this guy." I stand up and smooth out my dress as Jungkook slips on his shoes.

"Don't worry. Namjoon was a delight." Jungkook and I say a quick goodbye to Namjoon before heading out.
