"So why do you think these dreams are appearing again?" Dr. Crimble gently asks, peeing over his small circular glasses.
"I don't know. These days I've been happy and I've been enjoying life." I lie on the couch, rubbing my face out of frustration.
"You say you have been happier these days. Could these dreams be your sub-conscience still telling you that you aren't worthy of your happiness? You brought up your boyfriend last session, do you feel like you aren't worthy?" Dr. Crimble asks carefully, writing down a few notes. I close my eyes and take a deep breath.
"No. It's just he makes me happy and I guess. I guess I still feel like I'm not worthy, or that he is going to come back and ruin my happiness for me." I admit a tear running down my cheek.
"Miss y/n. I would like to try something with you." Dr. Crimble proposes.
"What is it?" I ask, looking up at the man.
"Sit up for this please." I do as he says and he gently places a hand on my shoulder, tapping my left side lightly.
"Look into my eyes." Once again I do as he says, peering through his circular lenses at his droopy eyes.
My vision begins to fuzz. Dr. Crimble speaks to me but his words past through my ears, not understanding a single word he was saying. My eyes begin to flutter, the fuzzy vision and the warm feeling overtaking me was making me tired. My eyelids became heavier and heavier. I feel another tap on my shoulder and instantly the fuzziness disappears and the warm feeling leaves me. Dr. Crimble smiles at me softly as I look at him, trying to scan his face for a clue for what he did.
"What did you do?" I ask and he gives a small shrug and glances over at the window.
"I just made a small voice inside you louder. That's all." I nod my head, acting as if I understood what he meant.
"Alright," I say quietly.
"Good. Now I want you to continue your week like normal. If anything happens then our appointment next week will still happen. If nothing happens, cancel the appointment." I nod my head and grab my stuff and leave.
"Sooo. What did you do last week while I was gone?" Jimin asks as he stretches out on the couch. Last week Jimin had left me to go out of town for a dance workshop. While he was gone I had the dream twice, both of which resulted in sleepless nights. He felt bad about leaving me but it was too good of a chance for him to pass up. It was a chance for him to teach dance and get him experience, and it paid nicely as well. As fate would have it, Jungkooks roommate Hoseok was there as a teacher as well. The two of them taught their class together, giving them a chance to form a bond.
"Well, you know Namjoon? He and I went down to another local art museum and walked around for a bit. It was nice to hang out with another art enthusiast besides Taehyung." I stop to try and think about what else I had done. "I went over to Jungkooks and we made homemade ice cream and ate all of it in one sitting. This morning we also went on another date, we went to Yoongi's cafe again. Other than that I really just stayed home and binged shows or worked on routines. Jimin listens to me carefully, taking in every word I say. When I ask him about his week his eyes grow in excitement. He changes his position, sitting up on the couch and turning to face me. He begins to tell these great stories of working with the students and how great of a dancer Hoseok was. He went on, gushing about him. Saying things like he was the greatest dancer he had ever seen and had such amazing control over his body. Jimin also shares some of the small adventures the two of them went on. Hikes on nearby trails, nights going out to a club, and breakfasts from the not-so-good but free continental breakfast their hotel had provided.
"I never knew how privileged I was to eat your cooking basically every day." Jimin's face scrunched in at the memories of lasts week's food he had eaten.
"Did you enjoy teaching a class this year?" I ask curiously and Jimin nods enthusiastically.
"Yes! So much! All the students worked hard and enjoyed the class. The company even asked me and Hoseok to come back next year!" My eyes grow in shock before I jump over to his couch and tackle him in a hug.
"Oh my god! I'm so proud of you! This is so amazing!" Jimin chuckles beneath me at my overflowing pride.
"I know, I'm so excited to work more with Hoseok in the future. He even thought that the two of us could get together and just dance for fun sometimes." Jimin adds as we pull away from the hug.
"That's incredible. Your incredible and the fact that you and Hoseok are so talented is incredible. This calls for some sort of celebration. Ice cream is needed to properly celebrate!" Jimin raises an eyebrow and smirks.
"Are you sure you aren't using this as an excuse to see your boyfriend?" He asks making the tips of my ears go red.
"N-no." I stutter, getting off his lap and standing up. "Now come on! The ice cream is calling!"
