"Don't worry so much Jungkook. The red hair looks good on you." I say, running a hand through it. Jungkook looks at me, unconvinced. We were standing in front of the restaurant, waiting for Jimin and Soo-Jin to show up. Jungkook was wearing an oversized light blue button-up and a pair of black jeans. I had on a loose white dress, a black belt around my waist giving me just the bit of shape I needed. I completed the look with a pair of black knee high heeled boots.
"Are you sure?" He asks trying to cover his hair with hands.
"Yes," I say, chuckling as I pull his hands down.
"Hey, guys! How are- woah Jungkook." Jimin stops when he sees Jungkook's hair. Jungkook grimaces, ready for what Jimin was gonna say. "Dude, never met anyone who pulls off red as good as you. Damn." Jungkook rubs his neck, gripping my hand tightly. Behind him, his date Soo-Jin appears, smiling at us brightly.
"Hello." She says quietly, waving her hands.
"Ah y/n, Jungkook. This is Soo-Jin. Soo-Jin this is y/n and Jungkook." Jimin introduces each of us to one another. I take this time as we shake hands to take in both of their looks. Jimin was wearing his classic night out look. A blue and white thinly striped button-up and a pair of black pants. Soo-Jin was wearing a cute black dress. It had a see-through mesh strap, with black polka dots filling in space. Soo-Jin had also added a cute silver belt, bringing out her waist. Very stylish, this was a good sign.
"It's so good to finally meet you Soo-Jin. Jimin never shuts up about you!" Soo-Jin blushes and looks up at the now flustered Jimin.
"Really now?" She looks to me and Jungkook. Jungkook nods eagerly.
"Umm, let's go eat! I'm hungry!" Jimin began to move us to the doors, placing his hands on Soo-Jins back and Jungkook's arm. Pulling them into the restaurant. Jungkook and Jimin were in the front, Soo-Jin and I following in the back. We walk up to the hostess stand.
"Name?" The woman looks up from her books to talk to the men in front of her. As she meets the eyes of the men I see her eyes go wide, then she eye's them up. Treating them like a fine piece of candy. Soo-Jin and I look at each other knowingly. She sighs and coughs, drawing the attention of the hostess. Her eye's narrow and she grudgingly looks Jimin and Jungkook in the eyes.
"Park, Park Jimin. Party of four." She scans through the book before marking something on a page. She bends down and grabs menus.
"Follow me." She leads us through the restaurant to our booth underneath a window. We slide in, Jungkook and I on one side and Jimin and Soo-Jin on the other. She passes out the menus to each of us, placing them in front of us.
"Your waiter today is Ryan. He'll be by to get your drink orders shortly." And with that, she was gone. We open our menus and look through.
"What are you thinking?" Soo-Jin asks me over her menu.
"Probably just water. I went out last night with my friend Bela and had way too much to drink." I mumble the last part, moving my eyes from the drinks to the entrees.
"You saw Bela last night?" Jimin asks I nod.
"Who is Bela?" Soo-Jin asks, looking between the two of us.
"She is Taehyung's fiance." Jungkook glances at me confused.
"Wait he actually did it?" I nod and he mutters a quick nice while shaking his head.
"So, Soo-Jin. Where do you work?" I ask, putting down my menu.
"Ahh well, I don't really work. My classes require a lot of energy and time." She explains, putting down her menu neatly in front of her.
"What kind of classes are you taking?" Jungkook asks, sitting back in the booth.
"I'm hoping to be a-"
"Sorry folks for the wait. I'm your waiter Ryan. What drinks can I get started for you?" The waiter walks over, cutting off Soo-Jin.
"Just water please," I say, watching as he writes down my order. The rest of the table orders and Ryan heads to the kitchen to grab our respective drinks.
"So what were you saying?" I ask once Ryan was gone.
"Soo-Jin is studying to be a nurse." Jimin finishes for her, proudly rubbing her back.
"Wow, that's fantastic," I say and Soo-Jin smiles, small dimples appearing on her cheeks.
"What about you y/n. Jimin tells me you work with him, what do you do?" She asks just as our drinks arrive.
"Yes, I actually have the same job as Jimin. We both work silks together." She nods before turning to Jungkook and takes a sip of her drink.
"What about you, Jungkook right?" He nods and smiles bashfully, showing off his bunny smile.
"Well, it's not anything fancy. I just work at Bon Bon Ice Cream." Her eyes go wide and she hits her hand on the table.
"Working with ice cream is one of the noblest professions there are! You are protectors of the summer fun!" My mouth drops.
"Oh my god, I think I love you," I mutter and Soo-Jin giggles embarrassed. "Jimin I'm stealing Soo-Jin, you can have Jungkook." Jungkook looks over at me, trying to see if I was joking or not.
"Works for me." Soo-Jin continues the joke, this time getting Jimin upset.
"Well then fine. I will take Jungkook." Jimin reaches over and the two boys high five. I glance over at Soo-Jin and we laugh as we watch our boyfriends continue their own joke, pretending to flirt with each other. Ryan returns in midst of the flirtatious remarks making both of them decide to stop. We order our entrees and our waiter leaves to get our orders placed.
"Wait so, you actually met her?" I gasp dropping my fork back onto my plate. "I can't believe that." Soo-Jin nods and quickly takes another bite of food.
"Yes I did, and you know what. Cameras do not do her justice." I pick my fork back up and sigh.
"I'm so jealous," I mutter taking a bite and washing it down with water.
"Why are you jealous?" Jungkook asks. I look at see the boys were back from the bathroom.
"Soo-Jin," I mumble with a mouth of food. I quickly cover my mouth with my hand. "Soo-Jin," I say again, this time my words come out clear.
"Why?" Jimin asks as he takes his seat back.
"Cause I got to meet Emma Watson." She explains, making me sigh longingly.
"Well, you got to meet Yeonjun. That was big for you." Jimin counters and I nod.
"That true, and much like my queen. Cameras do not do him justice." I finish my meal, quickly taking the last bite and eating it.
"Are you guys done?" Jimin asks I nod, wiping my mouth off with a napkin and finishing my water. Soo-Jin nods as well. Jimin looks around for our waiter. He catches his attention and the waiter walks back over to us.
"Will that be all for you folks?" We all nod and he rushes off to bring back the check. He returns and Jimin quickly pays, much to our protests. But he says he wanted to treat us. We grab our stuff and slide out of the booth. Walking back to the front we see the hostess who was checking out Jimin and Jungkook earlier. She glances nervously at me and Soo-Jin, who were now holding hands with our men.
"So I'll see you when you get home," I say to Jimin once we get outside.
"Yeah, just going to drop Soo-Jin off first." I nod and everyone says their goodbyes. Then we walk off to our cars in opposite directions. Jungkook runs up ahead, opening up the passenger door for me.
"M'lady."
"Why thank you." I softly kiss his cheek before getting in. He shuts the door behind me and walks over to his side. We turn the radio on and sing along to the few songs we know as he drives me home.
"Have a good night." He says when we get to my house. I wish him the same and share a quick kiss before I get out. I wave to him as he drives off, then walk over to my front door and unlock it. Jimin comes home a couple of minutes later and we watch an episode of our latest binge series before calling it a night and heading upstairs to bed.
