Discrepancies in black and white,
bits of one spilling into the other
framing blazing red eyes.Eyes turn upward.
The underworld gazes upon the living.Scratching claws echo as he approaches,
that tiny, fire-filled demon,
with ears pointed like horns.His ears perk up as I unsuspectingly pass.
The cat springs into action.
