Chapter 1: How It Began

Pranks are what made me notice him and what brought us closer.

The first time was when we were in middle school.

I, Nara Shikamaru, was taking a nap on the roof as usual when I felt someone mess with my hair. This woke me up to his wolf like grin hovering over me.

Inuzuka Kiba had suddenly decided to braid my hair and he tied it up with colorful hairbands - since my hair is long enough that I usually tie it up, he braided it into several tiny braids, around eight.

Instead of being annoyed or angry, I felt rather amused, also quite impressed that he had the patience to work on it so diligently while i slept - carefully enough to not wake me up.

After this, he'd find me no matter where I went to nap and braid my hair or doodle on my hands or forearm - which looked more like a tattoo and made me wonder if I'm getting a free service.

These little skillful pranks got me just a bit interested in him.

Kiba and I have been classmates since elementary school but never really talked enough for me to know anything about him.

So, I was really interested to know more about him.. And why he suddenly took an interest in playing these rather dedicated pranks on me.

A/N : This the first time I'm writing a fanfic with kiba and shika as my main ship so I'm not so confident but i really wanted to write about them so please do comment and let me know how you think it is❤
