Omniscient
Kayla cut deeper into her skin as tears filled her eyes. Her parents abondoned her at 8 months old but called her the crazy one. She was going to make another cut when she heard two girls arguing. It was Vanessa and the new girl Ari. It had only been a year since she was left here but she got into many fights, arguments, was sent to isolation and hit the security guard. Kayla was just like her so she and Vanessa easily became friends.
She cleaned and bandaged the cut, hiding the knife under her bed and walking outside. Vanessa was pissed that Ari used her mother and brother's death to make a joke. Ari, however didn't care and was asking toget draggd by that 1 dollar weave. Kayla just watched in excitement waiting for Ari to get dragged.
''It's not that big of a deal'', Ari said causing Vanessa to give her a 'really bitch?' face. Ari got in Vanessa's face trying to prove a point but she was punched to the ground. Vanessa dragged her across the floor while hitting her face at the same time. Kayla laughed cheering her on when a security guard came. It took 5 of them to get her off of Ari.
''You're back in insolation''
Vanessa rolled her eyes and following them. Kayla sighed as she was alone again. She was going to go back to her room but remembered it was time for lunch. She threw on an oversized hoodie with blue ripped jeans and white airforces. Even though she looked bummy she at least made sure her hair was good. She went to the cafeteria and sat at her usual table but by herself again.
Kayla thought the food tasted like a rat's ass so she didn't bother picking up a tray. Two girls approached her table asking if they could sit down and she said yes.
''What's your name?''
''I'm Arielle and this is my bestie, Kira''
She smiled as they cracked some joke about how bad the food is and the funniest fights. Ari looked at Kayla mugging her, which got a death glare. She rolled her eyes and turned around. The three girls looked at each other and laughed. They all knew Ari was all bark but no bite. She always got mopped up like a rag doll in every one of her fights. They asked about Vanessa and she told them.
Their laughing was stopped by a security guard who said they were making to much noise. Kayla mugged him.
''That's why you still have a milk dud for a head, bitch''
This caused Arielle and Kira to bust out laughing and the security guard put his hat back on and walk away. They all looked at each other and laughed again.
Kayla tried to stop herself from sleeping but the lesson was too boring for her. She was about to doze off when someone poked her arm. Because of her recent cuts, she quietly hissed in pain. She looked up to see a lightskin boy with curly hair. She mugged him and played with her pen.
He laughed and wrote notes in his and gave them to Kayla. She thanked him and packed up as the bell rung and went to her room. Lucas thought of following her but didn't wanna seem like a stalker.
Kayla took her pills without water. She thought they didn't do anything but make her throat dry. She sat on her bed wishing her brother would at least come visit her. She wished her parents didn't disown her but that action couldn't be changed now. Her thoughts were stopped when a new roomate came in. It was Ariella. She smiled and went back to her thoughts.
Kayla wanted to dissappear as no one but Vanessa seemed to care about her.
If she died, only her brother would care. And they argue all the time. Then, for some reason, her mind landed on Lucas. She didn't know why but he was on her mind. Even though Kayla swore to never have feelings, she felt something when she was around him.
