Omniscient
Ari went to Nicholas' room to check on him to see him curled up in a ball crying. She immediately went to his side and started to comfort him. He put his head on her shoulder soaking her shirt. She just rubbed his back telling him it would be alright even though she knew Nicholas didn't believe that.
She picked him up and put him on the bed and tried to see what was wrong. He just looked at her with lost puppy dog eyes not wanting to tell her.
Ari waited but Nicholas laid in her lap not saying he planning to kill himself. She played with his hair praying for him to get better. She wasn't suprised as Nicholas barely communicated about his feelings and would always keep to himself. Even though she tried to talk to him he would look straight through, cry or pretend to sleep.
Ari hugged him and told him she was always one call away.
He let out a small smile as she left the room. It was Saturday so they were free to do what they wanted. She skipped to the cafeteria and bought some food. Ari went back to her room bored and tired.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ari was woken up by Nicholas shaking her awake.
She woke up looking at Nicholas with a confused face. He dragged her out of bed causing Ari to mug and get up dusting off her clothes. He laughed while walking outside and taking her to the cafe.
Ari looked at the people in the cafe fighting over the last brownie. Nicholas and Ari laughed and shook their heads as it looked as if they were about to scrap. They sat down and finally had a conversation and Ari told him that she was there for him and would always help him. Nicholas nodded and smiled at her.
Ari always tried to help him but Nicholas was like a brick wall. He just didn't seem to want her help whilst he was crying for help at the same time.
Ari got up to go to the bathroom and waved a goodbye to Nicholas. He pouted and waved back as he got up to go to his room.

Ari looked down at her arms covered in blood. It was her thousandth time cutting her arms. Even though the group forgave her she still felt left out.
She still felt ignored and unheard. She still felt like the hole in her heart was still empty.
Now it was even worse as her little sister committed suicide due to their abusive parents. She cried looking at the memories they had together.
Now, in the blink of an eye, they were gone.
The only person who she truly thought she was forgiven by was Nicholas. She could tell him anything and everything but she never showed her true emotions.
Her vision became blurry as tears filled the rims of her eyes.
She looked at her phone one last time before throwing it across the room and bandaging her cuts.
Ari then threw on an all black outfit with her slides and went to grab a snack.
———————————————————
Ari went outside her room hating being outside already. She didn't want to interact anymore, she just wanted food.
She got to the snack machine putting a coin in for the crisps to get stuck. She rolled her eyes and started shaking it trying to get the crisps to move.
It still sat there along with the other crisps. Ari put another coin in and it still sat there. She kicked the machine annoyed and walked back to her room.
Of all days, it had to be the day she was hungry.
All of a sudden she bumped into Nicholas. She looked up with an irritated look plastered across her face. He smiled at her before going to his room.
She wanted to talk to him but she felt like it would ruin his small bit of happiness. Ari went back to her room filled with her own demons and problems.
Nicholas looked back at Ari with only her on his mind. He stood there watching her walk back to her room.
Is this love?
