Vanessa rolled her eyes as Jamell laughed and kept annoying her. She tried to bite his finger off when he tried to poke her cheek for the thousandth time. Jamell laughed whilst wrapping his arms around her back.
Vanessa smiled and Jamell held on to her even tighter.
She felt happier when around him but didn't want to admit her feelings. She still felt suicidal and numb but felt better around him. Jamell looked over her shoulder to see who she was texting. He laid his head on her shoulders as his eyes felt heavy. She smiled as she played games on her phone.
*30 minutes later*
Vanessa tapped Jamell's shoulder causing him to wake up and throw his pillow at her.
"What??!!"
"I'm going out, you want anything??"
"Nope."
He said whilst asking for his his pillow. She laughed and threw at him whilst running out before he could get up and chase her.
She took her phone and walked out with Kira. They took their passes and went out screaming it's saturday, screw you to the security guards. They got in the car and Kayla drove off to the store.
They played some of their favourite songs and were screaming the lyrics. Vanessa got out of the car as the others waited inside the car. Kira made weird faces in the car. She laughed and went into the store walking with her phone.
She walked along the food aisle and she saw a glimpse of a boy with the same pass that she had. He ran up to her hugging her. Vanessa realised it was her childhood friend Han.
She smiled and hugged him. They talked for awhile and talked about his music. Jamell watched with Keith and Lucas and got kind of jealous.
Keith said he was just a childhood friend but he still felt jealous.
(Han will speak in english. He's a member from Stray Kids which is a k-pop group)
"We're in the same institution now"
"I guess we are"
She said whilst checking out. She said bye to him and walked out. Jamell ran out and following her yelling her name. Vanessa turned around before she got into the car.
"How come every one knows about your little friend but i don't?"
"I was going to tell you-"
"Save it. You had me thinking you were all mine"
"You are. He's my childhood friend and I thought he was still at his old institution"
"Guess not"
Jamell said whilst walking away.
Vanessa held back her tears as she got into the car and drove off.

Vanessa picked up the blade and sliced a fresh new cut into her arm. She slightly hissed in pain. She thought Han being here would be be a good thing but now it seemed like it didn't. The blood poured out of her arms and she cried as she made a new cut into her arm. Jamell came in and rushed to stop her.
Vanessa cried in his arms as he hugged her.
He bandaged the wounds for her and said he was sorry about earlier. He also said how he talked to Han and became friends with him. Vanessa hugged Jamell and he hugged her back.
Jamell grabbed her hand and prepared her for the lessons they had tomorrow. He wrapped his arms around her waist and watched as she finished up on her homework. He felt tired so he put his head on her shoulder.
Vanessa finished up and was about to get up but Jamell held on to her. She laughed and tried to move but Jamell stopped her again.
Vanessa shook her head.
The moment was interrupted when a security guard said it was time to go to bed. He sighed and said bye to Vanessa.
She smiled and waved goodbye.
She packed up her things and went into her bed. They moved her back to her old room as she threatened her new roommate.
She thought of Jamell and butterflies filled her stomach once again. Vanessa still thought his affection was fake as she had trust issues due to her past relationships.
She wiped a tear from her eye. Misery loves company.
