I sit legs crossed on a bench outside the training center, I decided not to eat lunch and sit on the roof to get some air. The wind blows and it makes the air feel cool, its peaceful.
"If I were you I would get my ass down to the training center before they see your not there." Jo sits beside me hugging a hand around me,
"Yeah, I just wanted a minute of fresh air, what you doing up here?"
"Plutarch wants you" I give her a weird look,
"What" She smiles and waves it off pushing me up towards the door,
"Youll see"
....
"you want me to risk my damn life to save someone i have only met once." My eyes glaze over, they dont know what they are talking about. I came here to save Finnick not her.
"Shes the spark of the rebellion if she dies so does the rebellion" Plutarch pushes me towards it and I cant help but think maybe I should,
"I came here to let Finnick live. I want him to live." I cross my arms and dont budge,
"He agreed to risk his life for it, for her" My heart shatters , he is in on it. My world spins and colors flash in my eyes I just want to go home and to the water, The calming water.
"Fine" I march of into the other direction she better start a hell of a rebellion.
I walk to my room slamming the door in frustration and slamming myself into the bed screaming into my pillow. I hate myself, I hate the games, I hate Snow, I hate Finnick for agreeing to save her at all cost. No I dont hate him I just wish he didnt have to play the hero right now.
" You know we have to stop meeting like this" My head snaps to the door and I sigh and see Finn standing at the door hands on his hips and smirk on his face,
"Whats got the princess's all pouty" He laughs and immediately frowns when he sees a tear slip down my cheek.
"Oh, Liv im so sorry I didnt mean to make you upset, Damn I never meant to make you cry" He pulls me into him and rocks me as if im a baby. Im sure acting like one.
"Why did you have to do it?" I cry into his shirt balling my hands into fists. He pulls my head into his hands wiping away tears as they fall,
"What?" He looks horrified that he could ever make me cry, that he could cause me pain.
"I came here to save you, why did you have to volunteer to give your life for a dumb rebelion?" I let the tears continue to fall like rivers into the sea. He goes silent and freezes as if he cant move and if he does something bad will happen to us.
"I did it to protect you"
And then hes gone.
----Ok so im SOOOO sorry for the short chapter, i didnt have much time to write anything today, but the next chapter will be pretty long so hope that makes up for it. Also I made some changes to the last chapter so I would go back and reread it or this might be a tiny bit confusing.
