Beep!
Beep!
Beep!
"Ugh!" I groan as I reach over to turn off my alarm clock. I slap my bedside table three times before actually hitting the alarm clock. I open my eyes slowly and squint as the bright sun hits my eyes making me see spots.
I sit up in my comfy bed as the sun peaks through my curtains. When my eyes settle from the brightness I am able to fully open my eyes. It took all of my strength throughout my entire body to scoot to the edge of my unmade bed.
I balled my hands into fists and rub my eyes. I yawn as I push myself off of my bed. My sock covered feet touch the cold hardwood floor and I stretch my arms up high above my head. Who doesn't love morning stretches?
I drag my feet across my bedroom floor making me slip but fortunatley I was standing by my dresser so I was able to quickly catch myself before I fell. Other times I had not been so lucky when falling.
In more ways than one.
Since I was already at my dresser, I slid one of the drawers out and grabbed my outfit for today. I chose a light grey sweater paired with a vintage pink overall dress and some black heeled ankle boots.
I layed my clothes on my bed before heading into the bathroom. You may be wondering 'Why don't your parents wake you up?' and my answer to that is my parents think that I should wake up by myself without someone waking me. They say 'We all have responsibilities around this house and that includes you too. One of your responsibilities is school!'.
So, yeah, that's why.
After I pee and wash my hands, I brushed my teeth. I don't know if this makes me weird but after I brush my teeth with toothpaste, I pour mouthwash on my toothbrush and then brush my teeth with that as well.
I decided that I was going to take a shower as well because I do have the time for one.
While in the shower, I chose to shave as well because I'm going to be wearing a dress and lets face it, no girl wants to wear a dress with hairy legs.
As soon as I hopped out of the shower I rubbed lotion on my body making me feel silky smooth.
I dried my hair with a blow dryer and brushed out all of the tangles. Let me give you something to think on for a second. In the movie tangled, throughout Rapunzel's entire journey, how come her hair didn't get tangled once?
When I entered my room I was hit with cold air and it made me shiver. I quickly slid on my outfit before trying to get warm in my blankets for a second.
Once I finally got warm I raced out of my room to keep myself from getting cold again.
I grabbed an apple from a bowl that was sitting on the counter and began to eat it as I walked around collecting my things. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs as I threw the core of my apple into the trash can.
"Good morning Jules" my mom said as she entered the kitchen in her nurse scrubs. My mom worked as a nurse at a children's hospital for cancerous kids. Sometimes I go there after school to see the children and play with them.
The kid that I always hang out with is a seven year old little girl. Her name is Samantha and she is the sweetest little girl I've ever met.
"Good morning mom" I said happily as I move to the sink to wash my hands. "Did you sleep good?" mom asked and I nodded. "That's good sweetie. Your dad already left for work early this morning and I'm running late but I hope you have a good day at school" mom rushes out as she grabs her purse and jacket.
