"Ew Sal I really cannot believe your going out with that boy John," I scoff, dragging the mascara up on my eyelashes, letting the lashes slowly slip out from the sticks teeth.
"I'm sorry Maelyn, I'm sorry yer taste in men is poor," Sally rolls her eyes, swiping a red lipstick across her plump lips.
"Oh my taste? Says the one who has one night stands like her life depends on it," I chuckle, snatching the lipstick from her hand so I can use it.
"Yer bathroom mirror is so big!" She admires, her eyes star struck.
"Ta' but I honestly don't know why," I shrug, adding a bit more lipstick to the top of my lips, without making it too visible.
"Trying to make yer lips plump?" She snickers, smirking in my direction.
"What? I don't have naturally plump lips like yours" I roll my eyes, now grabbing my eyebrow pencil. I pull back some skin under my brow. I sketch in little lines to add to my rather thin eyebrows. Satisfied with the right one I move to the left one, repeating what I just did.
"Ready?" Sally asked me, flattening out her cuffed jeans.
"Yup," I reply, swiping my blazer from my bathroom counter before sticking my arms through the sleeves.
"C'mon then let's go!" She grins, clutching my hand tightly, running down my stairs. She opens my opens my door, letting it fling free before she continues to dart, me just following behind her.
The night was quite cold to be honest. You wouldn't even need to go outside to realize this, since the people who were in the street were shivering. Most of them were bundled up, but here were Sally and I, our cuffed jeans, black flats, white shirt and black shirt paired with an ascot, oh and of course our 'jackets'.
Even the trees were shaking now, the wind harshly causing this.
We finally arrived at the red lit Cavern Club. Sally took care of how we were suppose to get in. And no she did not flash him, he's her brother.
"Oh and Mum wanted to tell ye she doesn't like that Lennon boy!" He called out to Sally, her waving her hand in his direction.
We were greeted by a intoxication of cigarettes from the hustling club. The curved ceiling always brought some form of nostalgia to my heart, and I don't know why.
I turned my head slightly, a poster catching my attention. I inched a tad closer to it.

George Harrison Paul McCartney

CAVERN CLUB
Liverpool
Jan 4- thru 18- 1962
On the top of the writing was a picture of the boys looking all stylish. John was sitting with his guitar on what seemed to be a, well I couldn't tell. George was seated on it right next to him, a guitar in his hands as well, except unlike John, George was looking at the camera. My eyes flicked over to the far left side, where Paul was standing a bass in his hand. My eyes traveled all the way back to the right side where Pete was. Pete has his drumsticks in his hands, which were placed in front of his crotch pretty much, classic Pete pose. There was a single drum right in front of him, or beside him? I still couldn't tell.
My gaze was now broken by Sally who was at the bar calling for me. I obliged and strutted over towards her. I noticed the man behind the bar focusing on her breasts.
