My eyes fluttered open and I picked up my phone from beside me. Zero notifications. Eleven fifteen AM.
"Sara?" I asked. No response.
I sighed and crawled out of bed. Sara wasn't in the room. Maybe she went to go get me a glass of water after all.
Sitting down at my desk, I booted up my computer and checked the posting notifications. On the top of my dashboard was a message from Sara from five minutes ago, 'Sure thing babe, under one condition..' it read.
Sara burst back into the room with a glass of water as I had asked.
"You're awake. It's about time." she joked.
"Your um, condition?"
"I want to go for a car ride. And you should get dressed."
"Yes ma'am." I nodded, re enforcing my statement.
"Say that again."
"Yes, ma'am." I repeated, again, nodding.
Fuck. She's cute and a definite top what the hell universe.
"You're cute." she said, ruffling my hair. My face was about as hot as buffalo wings. Why is she doing this? "And I want to drive. Is that okay little one?" Sara emphasized the pet name. Sara knows. How the fuck does she know? She's known me a day and a half.
"You, how- hmmm. Yes, that's okay." I replied, my blush growing deeper by the second.
"Good girl. Now, you're a purple person, right?"
I nodded. "Why?"
"I have to find you clothes, right?"
"No, I can, is okay." I spun my chair around and pulled over one of my boxes. Purple clothes. An entire box just for purple clothes. From the box, I pulled out some above the knee purple and white striped socks, a pastel purple knee length dress, and some purple hair clips. Purple purple purple.
I showed the outfit to Sara and she nodded so I picked up the clothes, my bathroom bag, my shower bag, and my makeup bag, and went over to the door.
"C'mon," I said, "Bathroom time. Gotta get ready if we gon go somewhere."
"As you wish." Sara stood up from her chair and came over to the door, moving the blackout curtains out of the way momentarily.
The bathroom was the most crowded I think I've ever seen it. There were at least twenty other girls in there. That's a lot of people.
I walked in and went straight to the showers, then emptied my shower bag on the floor as I did before.
. . .
After my shower and after brushing my teeth, it was time for hair and makeup. I blow dried my hair into a red curly mess and put in the purple clips just above my ear on the left side.
For makeup, all I did was some concealer under my eyes and a light to dark purple ombre in eyeshadows. I can't do much more than that because if I put on foundation or blush it will cover my freckles.
It's a purple glasses day so I pushed on my purple Ray Bans and walked back into my dorm room.
Shoes. Purple wedges. I slid them on and looked iver to Sara who had followed my into the bathroom and back to the dorm.
"Breakfast?" I asked.
"How about crepes?"
"Where in the world are we going to get crepes?"
"Creamery has crepes. It was on the side menu." Sara pointed out.
"Crepes it is! Chocolate crepes for breakfast!"
Sara chuckled and opened the dorm room door for me. When I walked out, I laced my finger through hers, pulling her with me. The door slammed shut behind us.
It was almost noon, so I guess it wouldn't be breakfast crepes, but lunch crepes is just as good.
"Why can't this elevator go any faster?" I groaned, "I'm tired of listening to this stupid elevator music."
"Patience, little one." Sara placed a kiss on my cheek.
"Yes ma'am." I said quickly, feeling the heat rise into my cheeks once more.
The elevator doors opened and I practically jumped out, pulling Sara with me.
"Crepes! Crepes! Crepes! That's a funny word." I giggled.
"And you are a funny girl." Sara reply with a wide smile and a poke on the nose.
And out the door we went, into the freezing cold. Sara was much more prepared for the temperature than I was. She was wearing jeans and a sweater while I'm over here in a dress.
I looked down at our intertwined hands to see that Sara had done her nails this morning apparently. Different shades of purple. What time did she wake up?
"Hey Kase, after breakfast, we have to go to the store. Okay?"
I nodded, "I love the store! Which one?"
"I was thinking Walmart. That way, we can get food and maybe, if you're good, I'll let you pick out a surprise."
"Mmkay." I smiled.
A surprise? What kind of surprise? Ooooh, I'm excited.
Sara pulled me into Creamery and we stared at the menu for a solid fifteen minutes before deciding that Sara would be getting Nutella crepes with strawberries, and I would be getting dark chocolate crepes with peanut butter and also some strawberry ice cream. A balanced breakfast.
I handed Sara money for food since we had prearranged that since she paid for our first date that I would pay for the second and so on and so forth.
We sat down at one of the tables in the far back corner on the same side of the table. Sara put her hand on my knee and I leaned into her.
The tables were nice and the chairs were even nicer. For a smaller cafe-esque type restaurant, it's really comfortable.
Our crepes and my ice cream came to our table.
"Thank you." I said. Sara just smiled.
"Enjoy your meal."
This day will be written in three parts and this is the first.
I was scared to post this because some of the people I know in real life read this story as well. And some of them are against the idea of littlespace and other things along those lines. Please be nice in the comments. I actually didn't know Kasey was a little, it just sort of happened.
After I write, I don't edit. I write and I post, so if there's problems with grammar, please don't correct me in the comments, there's bound to be mistakes!
Signing off for now! ~ MagiSky17
